Do not get this app. Big scam. It’s not a tour company. Stick to the free walking tours. Took a “skip the queue” tour for Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. Everything was a mess. We took 30 mins to wander 100m to the mosque, had to do another ticket check because the company was unorganised. Upon arrival the queue was about 500m long. So would have been better to go straight there. Waited in line for 2 hours. Tried to cancel the booking but was not possible. When we got to the entrance the tour “guide” left us and we had to visit the monument alone: he said “just use the QR codes on the signs.” Not only was this not a “skip the line” service it was not a tour. Luckily it was a morning tour in spring so wasn’t too hot waiting in Istanbul for 2 hours. Tried to contact the company to ask for a refund but their chat function didn’t work and it was not possible to communicate with them. Have since been in contact with their customer support. Half of which was AI and sending me random emails. They refused to give me a refund. I will never use this service again.

I advise against installing this app

You can buy 4 tickets with audio guides, but can’t share the tickets, so I ended up with 4 audio guides in my phone. It’s truly amazing to have such a huge oversight

Headout offers no support and no customer service to their clients. Save your time and money and don’t use them.

Have tried booking tickets through this, Getyourguide, viator, and TripAdvisor and this one has in the fine print that you may not get your tickets for 30 mins or even longer (mine took 30 mins). Also claims they will be available offline in the app but within the app it always just took me to safari and I didn’t want to risk it after the rest of the experience so I downloaded PDFs

For almost 24 hours I’ve tried to access my tickets through the app or the website and nothing, they said they resent the link to my email and to check the spam folder but nothing, contacting my credit card to report spam/fraud

Very poor app. Would never purchase another ticket from them. Purchased an entrance ticket to a museum from the app. Ticket issued was for another site so of course was denied entrance. Tickets for another venue were purchased that included an audio guide, but was unable to access the audio guide despite following the instructions to retrieve the guide. Very frustrating experience. It’s 2024. Purchasing tickets for a museum on line should not be this problematic.

This app makes travel experiences more complex, more confusing and more expensive.

Do not do business with this company or download its app. It is a complete SCAM. We are in Singapore and the vendor would not honor the tickets purchased through this app.

I foolishly booked two museums in Madrid through them. At the last minute I was informed they were both closed those days. In fact, they were not closed but were FREE with reservations. However since my paid reservations were cancelled I could not get in and Headout did not refund my money stating their “policy”. They were dishonest about the museums being closed and cost me visits to the Royal Palace and modern art museum (Guernica) due to their last minute notice. Avoid at all costs.
