Hi, I’ve been usong this app on my Apple watch. The nice thing is that you can chose 4 or 5 zones and that you can customize these zones manually (on the Apple watch you can atm only work with 5 zones).I look daily in my Welltory app for the zones and adjust them in Zones if necessay. The sounds (bleeps, these could be a bit louder please) and vibrations when going from one zone in another are very handy. If you do not want a heartrate strap this app also works fine on your Apple watch in your swim workouts (make sure your watch is tight on your wrist). Also results of workouts started from other apps such as the Apple workouts, seemlessly appear in Zones. I use zones for walking, cycling and roeing too. It is just great. Unlike Apple Watch it shows the average intensity and intensity range of your heartbeats too. Zones cannot cast the heartbeat to the PM5 monitor of Concept2, nor can Apple workout, but if you use a Polar H10 you can broadcast your heartbeat over bluetooth to your Apple watch (and thus to Zones) and to your Rowerg and PM5 monitor of your Concept2. Of course using the strap will result in a even more concise heartbeat monitoring.
Heartbeat reading freezes all the time making this app useless
Na een training komen er geen gegevens in Strava. Beetje jammer ondanks PRO aanschaf.
I’m loving the Zones app but would love it even more if the personal records ( PRs) would be visible as a: - top 3 best 5km, 6km, 10km runs (so per distance) with time and dates and starting with the fastest run. - so give the user the option to add filter options to only see a certain distance 5.0km up until eg 5.03km currently a 5k run also includes 10k run - Add the Fastest top 3 runs in homescreen widgets besides the app itself. Eg middle sized could include both fastest top 3 5k (left) and 10k (right).
When I select Bike it works during running But when I select Running… after 3, 4 sec it quit. In left corner red letters Running. HeartBeat, but no distance.
The calculation of calories rowing is very very low. It is hard to believe that 12 km rowing at a pace of 14 km/HR , at heartbeats up to 180 is one quarter only of that of a tennis double of half an hour where the heartbeat never exceeds 130. Which conversion is used here? Rowing calories burned is also lower than in cycling and running, how is it possible?
Honestly one of the most perfect ways I have seen to compile and track workouts. The UI is great, very user friendly. Works awesome with the Apple Watch as well. You do not at all need PRO if you want to track workouts, but it was one of those apps where I’m actually happy to support the developers. Keep it up! 😊

I’ve being using the pro, and highly recommend. The new widget for the Home Screen is also very good.
