It has been my work horse for years just working very Well. But latest version works poor on CarPlay. Please fix

Finally!
So the rewrite wasn’t working for me. So many little things that either didn’t work or were just too different. But now after some updates I am back on Overcast and loving it. God work Marco. To fellow podcast listeners: Overcast is great!

Loving the updated app
I’ve been using Overcast since the beginning, and this new update is a great upgrade to me. After taking a little time to get used to the changes, I definitely prefer this new layout. The updated design language makes it more inline with where app design is today. This means that everything is more intuitive to me, because moving around the app is more like moving around the rest of the iOS ecosystem. This app has always been, and will continue to be, one of the main reasons I am not even considering switching from iOS.
Nice and functional
Really nice podcast-app, not least since the new re-write. VoiceBoost and SmartSpeed are essential to me. The respect for my privacy counts for a lot and the utility, all in all is great. I prefer it - by far - to any other app in this category.
New design sucks
Been using Overcast happily for years, hate it now. The new design is absolutely terrible. I'll give it a proper chance, but honestly think I'll end up finding a new podcast app.
Turned to $#!T
Long time user here, but with the latest update it feels like the developer is either intentionally trolling the users, or straight up wants to make us suffer. Literally anything is better than this app.
Still great
After a complete rewrite, the new app is impressively close to the old one in functionality, with an appropriate redesign that makes it feel a bit more modern again. I’m sure this will be the basis for an even better app in the years to come. The basics: Great app, have used it every day for around 10 years. Well maintained, reliable, doesn’t do creepy stuff.
Bedst podcast afspiller
Super afspiller. Siger hvad den gør og gør hvad den siger. Går det nemt at tilføje nye podcast, lave afspillingslister, juster som du har lyst til eller lad vær. Smart speed og voice boost er blevet helt undværligt for mig. Ifølge overcast har jeg sparet 276 timers lyttetid ved at fjerne ekstra stilhed,

As with any good app there are places that can be improved, but this rewrite of the app is excellent - keep it going 💐
