B&O HX

Natural balanced sophisticated sound. Really premium materials. App is great. Equalizer is superb!!! My dalily stuff for meetings on Teams , calls and short breaks with signature B&O sound.

B&O makes great hardware, but the software is disaster.

1st it took me half an hour to actually pair my beoplay ex correctly via the app. Since than the ear buds received 3 software updates which till today I cannot install. I do everything as said in the app. After putting the buds in the case and hitting "update now" I'm getting either "connection lost" or "downloading update" for 5 hours straight. The app itself is sluggish i takes like 10 seconds for it to recognize the buds are connected every time you open it. Even if you didn't take buds of your ears in the mean time.

Beosound stage - not working in AirPlay mode with Iphone 12+ IOS 16.1 not

Sound stops playing after just few seconds however app is showing that track is still playing. What could be the problem ?

Love it every day

In recent updates, the volume slider/bar disappeared from products settings rippling this app functionality. Maybe this way looks cleaner but it's less useful. Less tapping is always better.

Stereo pairing is driving me crazy

Sometimes it is just impossible to pair two speakers and sometimes after long fight it pairs them but only one is playing

Works but modest

For the headphones only 3-4 functionalities available, I only use equalizer which is specific, rounded, nice to have and interesting, but option to switch to traditional EQ is missing for me very, very much. You cannot control frequency separately, if you increase treble, automatically reduce bass, etc. Why? BO, please add traditional EQ to have a choice.

Few problems

App is great but i have a few problems. B&O Widget Controls for HX doesn’t appear anywhere and there’s virtually no information about it online. Tried restarting the app, restarting the phone, still no widget. Second is I have problems with native iOS widget for battery status of phone and connected devices. B&O app shows 83%, battery widget shows 90%. They seem to jump in 10% increments and have pretty big latency of updating that information. What’s more the widget doesn’t indicate if the headphones are currently charging like it would with AirPods. Seems to have been a problem for a long time so I’d be great if you fixed it, because it’s really inconvenient to have to open app each time I want to check battery level. Also it’d be cool if you added nightmode to the app.
