I have the Beoplay Portal for my Xbox. The headphones sound ok, but when they connect to the app it doesn’t let you do anything. You can’t change any settings or update firmware because it always says there was an issue or if fails.
Update.
I had to completely clear app and data off my phone and reinstall, then factory reset the headphones and was able to get it all working again.

Used to be able to impose a maximum volume so that my neighbors won’t be scared to death because I accidentally increased the volume…
What are the developers even thinking about…
Last 2 updates are messed up
In n-2 version, I was able to personalize the sound modes by adjusting Upmix, Virtualize, LFE & Content Processing. I do not see those options anymore! The app keeps switching back to None mode and no new modes can be created as it fails to save settings.

It’s shocking how awful this app is compared to B&O’s competitors. Actually, it’s that bad without even looking at Sony or Bose apps, because it straight up does not work. I’m considering returning the two A1 Gen2 speakers I just purchased.
Can’t connect
Need a stupid app to use the product and it fails all the time. Do better.

This app constantly crashes and disconnects intermittently from your own products. I tried the new tidal link up and it literally told me I can’t play tidal songs through the b&o app and that I have to switch to the tidal app. I absolutely love the sound quality of your products but your user interface and reliability leave so much to be desired. From a frustrated lover of your design and products.
