This is a great note taking app. For a long time I was looking for a note taking app that will suits my needs and it will be pleasant to use. I have tried Evernote, Apple Notes, Notions 🤢 (sorry for my reaction on notion) and many other… Finally I have tried Craft - Folders, Icons, Shortcut support, native support on iPad, iPhone and Mac, the way you create documents, backlinks - all fantastic. Of course there is room to improve: - Tags functionality (multiple tags to one file), - Tables, - Add image/file to a document with iOS shortcuts, Keep up the good work!!
I’ve been looking for a great notes taking app for what seems like years and it’s been impossible to even find just a ‘good’ one until now. I found out about Craft from a colleague and it’s been a complete life-saver. I love how it deals with blocks of content that can be moved around and styled - it’s super powerful. For those looking for a beautifully designed and powerful notes app, your search is done. Craft is the best app I’ve used in quite some time!
Overall, Craft stands out as an especially polished writing app with many thoughtful touches. Here, I’ll mention one. The app generates excellent previews of links. (And I’d add relatedly that it does a fine job with embedded PDFs.) I’m impressed with the team and with the obvious continuing commitment to building out new features. I’m happy to be a subscriber.
Different from most note-taking software developed by web. Craft is the best interactive app I have ever used.

Craft is an excellent notes, productivity, and AI writing app. However, like most apps, it has room for improvement, particularly regarding its AI models. The local AI features are impressive, but it would be beneficial to include more modern models, such as Qwen 3 with 0.6B parameters for local processing, or Llama 3.3. For cloud-based AI, while Craft already offers GPT-4o, this model feels somewhat dated now. Adding Claude 3.5 Haiku or Claude Opus 4 would be valuable upgrades. Alternatively, if sticking with OpenAI, o4-mini would provide a fast, intelligent, and cost-effective option. Beyond AI capabilities, Craft's interface is stylish and well-deserving of its App Store Design Award. If you want an alternative to Apple's built-in Notes app, or if you don't have a newer iPhone with Apple Intelligence but still want AI-powered note-taking, Craft is an excellent choice.
I recently switched over Notion. I have been a long time Notion user but it has become too commercial and enterprisy. So far I like the Craft experience.
I enjoyed the look and capabilities of this app and wanted to try out. Was told it was a week for trial then payment starts. I just got an alert from my card saying I was charged for $95.99 a year. Requesting refund so I can at least try the product. Thanks!
It took a while to figure out how I wanted to set it up but once I did it really did make things systematized so that I can think document and create. I’m an Apple fan girl too and this gobs of Apple vibes.
