Love the App!

Tito7062 on

I have used all iterations of Craft including website, Mac, Ipad, and Iphone for my job in the medical field on a daily basis for almost 2 years. I would recommend the development of an Apple Watch app specially for To-do lists, and possibly entry of oral notes. Developer team is also highly responsive. I hope they listen to my recc. Kindly

Bang For The Buck

Stefan804 on

I am “note” and “productivity” enthusiast who has been in search of the Holy Grail of apps for a decade plus. I find a lot of value in a lot of apps, but for me and my life, they all had a few gaps, so you have to have like 3-4 service to cover your journaling, your notes, your tasks and reminders, your web clips, and your writing. Well as of this writing Craft is as close as ANY ONE developer has gotten. I can easily do all my journaling in the calendar portion of the app. I love to “bullet journal” and I can shoot links and photos right into “Today” to preserve the experience. The only thing that I would request here is some sort of “recall” or “On This Day” feature where those of us who use Craft for journaling can review our experience in years past. That would be a great feature. The second most used feature is the “web clipping” feature. There is an awesome shortcut available that clips entire articles in a beautiful structure into a folder on Craft so you can use this to Read It Later, and research in your own time. Not even app billed as sole web clippers do this nice of a job! Thirdly, they just added this “reminder” feature that I KNOW is going to be a game changer. This was just implemented in the last few months, and is still maybe in it’s nascent stages. But you can select ANY block or page and add a reminder to it. It took me a minute to get the gist but so easy. You can take notes for a meeting and instantly make any part of your note a reminder. Genius. There is also a place to view all your reminders as well. This is where it needs some polish. There should be a way to see how reminders are grouped by note, etc. So greater organization here. And also “repeat reminders” is necessary to make this a truly capable of replacing your “to do” app. But it’s off to a phenomenal start. Lastly, this is long I know, but I am compelled to tell you about it! There is not better aesthetically pleasing app in this field. There is no easier to use app in this field with this level of complex function. Craft did a seamless job giving users ease of use AND the ability to do it all. And at 9.99 a month it is a no brainer. I didn’t even go into organization, sharing, and AI. This is THE APP that gets it done. And one other thing before I go. They are evolving at a HIGH clip. Updates are numerous with not just “under the hood” features. They are bringing useful new elements almost monthly leaving a subsc

Very Buggy Interface

Sean O'Rear on

I have been using Craft on MacOS and I have recently switched to iPad. This version is VERY BUGGY, and it is causing a lot of issues interacting with data. - Blocks (text lines) are randomly shifted to the left, half off the screen. The fix is to close Craft and reopen - Blocks randomly disappear. There is a space where the should be but you can’t see the block. Same fix as above. - The bottom chrome does not respect the Apple keyboard and microphone widget, and constantly resizes itself to take up a large part of the screen These are common enough that it leaves me feeling that the software is not stable. I am not sure why this is so buggy, but I look forward to fixes for all of these issues soon

I’ve been wanting to implement some kind of second brain tool for a while but nothing really even started to stick until I found Craft through my Setapp subscription. I was previously using Bear and though the tagging systems was helpful it just wasn’t pretty and that matters for me if I’m going to use something a lot. Craft makes it super easy to make it look nice and also to link it all back to each other so it feels the right balance between structured and chaotic. It is organized and classified so that I can find things but it is networked and cross referenced so I can explore and rediscover. Thank you for hitting the sweet spot!! One small wish if the developers are reading, that the task/reminders system would be integrated with Reminders. Thank you!!

😊😊😊😊it’s an amazing app

It’s the greatest app ever, it needs just little more beautiful colors

I am loving this app!

PerchedEagle on

My company recent killed support for OneNote. I quickly found this amazing app as a replacement. Not a 1 to 1 feature replacement but many of Crafts different features are even better! I really recommend it for all kinds of note and document creation.

Just wow!

Do you have that feeling when you just tried every productivity app on the AppStore and you feel like you had enough! Try this one and you will IMMEDIATELY stop the search for the perfect app if there’s such a thing.

Excellent app - a bit too pricey

KartikK on

I was there at the beginning when I subscribed at around $50 a month. Looks like the price doubled. Would come back if I can get the legacy pricing. Too many subscriptions to manage.

This is a very in depth app and I absolutely love everything about it

Amazing and New Calendar feature game changing

Jmonda on

Updated: The new way craft is handling reminders is amazing. Now you can actually get a reminder. Plus it sounds like when 3.0 comes out they will be making significant steps towards some really cool’s features. I still wish the wish the windows version was a little better. Is there some work to do? Of course such as if they could OCR handwriting and make that searchable this app would rule the world 🤣. Or if you could just put handwritten notes into craft as part of it. However as it stands it is an amazing app. I am a pastor and currently all of my sermons that I have written since getting craft are stored in craft I love the layout I love the fact that I can have a graphic on my page. Additionally I can backlink to other sermons and stuff if I want to. You can also have templates for just about anything you want. I made my own template for gaming sermon notes I have them linked to each speaker and to the date. So I can pull up messages from the speaker. I also keep podcast notes and other notes in here. Before that was about the extent of what I used craft for mainly just notes on stuff and sermons. I once tried to use it for kind of file management personal knowledge management as well but I just did not care for how it did it. Now with the calendar feature this is game changer. You can now have a daily journal. You can take quick notes for phone calls. You can take notes for counseling. You can jot down a note and link it to another note or even another day. Additionally you can have all of your reminders right in front of you I cant wait to see what they come up with next. I use this app just about more than any other app on my Mac, iPad, and iPhone. Keep it up.
