Love it. Two kids

Connecting

As a first time old grandpa living alone and a couple of hours away it’s wonderful to be able to share in magical real time moments of with beautiful grandson. Also reminds me of the love care attention and commitment required by parents of a growing baby.

Couldn’t connect to camera

The WiFi antenna on this device is probably the worse I’ve ever seen. The router is straight below the baby’s room, one floor down. The camera will disconnect weekly and won’t be reachable until we unplug it and power it back on. You constantly have to babysit the DEVICE, on top of your newborn. We also bought the Sleep Pad to feel more secure.. don’t repeat that mistake, it throws so many false notifications that our baby has stopped breathing that we threw the thing away. The AI features from the premium plan are also a joke. The baby is sleeping with his face sideways, and we receive alerts that his face is covered.. on top of being alerted that he stopped breathing. What an awful experience. Their support is AI generated and will spam you with common sense how-to if you ever get a chance to talk to a real human. The camera quality is great when it’s working. The background mode is useful, so is picture-in-picture. Everything else is so bad and unreliable. I can’t believe this thing has so many disconnections from wifi and won’t even pair itself back. I can catch the 2.4ghz wifi band from 1 block away in the street but this thing won’t stay connected 12ft away from the router. I hate it.

Not worth it!

The pic quality is great, hut that is about it! The functionality is terrible, especially for multiple users who like to travel. Only the “primary” user can connect the system to a new wifi, so it makes it very challenging with two parents who travel with their baby. Both should be able to have primary user access. Like many others we have also had troubles with the connection stability. We often get warning that connection unstable, and sometimes it will just stop working. It makes it challenging for me to work in the garden, or sit on the patio, because the connection drops soo often. It has nothing to do with our internet. My partner also works away and has experienced poor connection and the app will say “camera is unavailable” when it is not the case for me. There have been so many nights he can’t see our son. Lastly the rewind and fast forward function to rewatch footage will sometimes only advance by a few seconds at a time. Frustrating when you are wanting to see what might have woken your sleeping baby. This has definitely been a disappointing purchase.

I like it

I’m surprised to read all the negative reviews. We’ve had the app and the camera for almost 9 months and we really like it. I had a tech issue once but the tech support helped me solve it very quickly. I absolutely adore the daily snaps I get of my baby 🫶🏻

I love this camera.

I tried a competitor’s camera before and thought it was great until I had my second baby and got this one. I don’t know were the bad reviews come from because for me this camera has been amazing. I’m sharing it with grand parents and everyone’s happy. The Cons: - It has a 3-5 seconds-ish delay but that can be expected from any WiFi-based camera. Pros: - Pretty easy to install. - Sleep reports are GREAT. - it has a cute design that my baby loves. - At first I was annoyed by how many notifications I was getting (it can be too much if you don’t set them up correctly) but now that I figured it out it notifies me about the things I need to be notified about. I haven’t tried the music, white noise, light, sleep pad, or speaker so no comments there.

Poor connection

The quality of the image is great, however it the camera often cuts out and says connection unstable. We have high speed internet and no other issues with cellular, other apps or devices in are home. We are constantly needing to restart the monitor, and few times it has cut out in the middle of the night and we did not hear our daughter, we have started keeping her room door open because of this issue so we can hear her if needed.

Although I like the features on this camera, it disconnects about once every 3 days and the white noise turns off. I have to wait about 4 minutes before it reconnects.

Constant connection issues

Disconnects several times a day/night and needs a hard reset every other day, sometimes kicks family members off and makes almost impossible to re-add. Not worth the spend.
