Lack of games, shifts often and unable to recalibrate mid-exercise program
Got the Elvie trainer upon the recommendation of my pelvic floor PT. At moments, it has offered great feedback to help with strengthening my pelvic floor. However, it often shifts during workout, the workouts are fixed (no variety) and there is no way to recalibrate without starting the whole cycle over.
I decided to move on and try the Perifit plus and although it also can shift, I can recalibrate between games and the games are more eloquent. I really wanted to like Elvie, but they need to upgrade their software offerings with their trainer.
Refuses to work
This is my 3rd trainer. The 1st one worked great until it was 2 months out of warranty. Did the job and I was very happy with it.
The second one would not function properly no matter what I did and so it was replaced under warranty. I’ve had the new one for a few months and it’s hit and miss. Mostly miss. It seems like it’s the app rather than the device. It will start to work and get through the first step to set me up for the workout and the first exercise isn’t a continuous line like it should be and it doesn’t register the workout. Yesterday I faked my way through the first 3 exercises and it started working. Today it’s the same old thing.
Seems like the problem might be the app and not the device. They should probably do an update for the app to fix the bugs.
Time to look for something else

After working with the Elvie for about a month I no longer experience the constant close calls when having to use the restroom. WHAT A RELIEF! This product works and the exercise routines change just at the time you begin to get sick of it, it’s perfect! The app knows me and grows with me. I refer absolutely everyone to this excellent product.
Taught me a lot
I never knew how weak my pelvic muscles were. Having a tool to measure has taught me a lot
Worst ever!
You’ll spend 1 hr keeping this thing connected because it won’t stay connected for a full session.
Sluggish
I started using the app in 2020 and it was great! It started up right away and progressed well. For the last 6 months, it’s sluggish to connect to the trainer, then to assess if you’re using it correctly and between the activities. Also the steps activity is not working correctly as well as other ones intermittently working.
Boring
I really enjoyed moving up the levels. But once you reached the highest level it is always the same training. It gets really boring and I have the impression that the company does not care because they got their money and it does not make sense for them to develop new pelvic trainings.
Faulty Product. Useless Customer Service
My product worked twice. Now the software is either glitching or something is wrong because I cannot get the gem to move either with my pelvic floor or my hand. I have emailed customer service. They have responded with things like, “looks like your training is going great!” and other unhelpful responses. This means that I cannot file a warranty claim and am going in circles. Please avoid this product. Perifit is much better.
Edit: I have contacted them over 5 times. It’s just a bad company. Or they make such bad hiring decisions that it’s impossible to get it to work. AVOID

Elvie is very motivating and encouraging. I see great improvement since I have been using Elvie.

Im really interested in learning pompoir and the Elvie trainer is an amazing tool for feedback. A request for the developers: it would be really helpful to have a sort of free form playground screen where you’re just about to see the ball rising and lowering with the contraction. That would enable me to use the Elvie decide for feedback while I work on another training program (Gohdess).
