App would freeze up when adding events to calendar.
Downloaded this today and I can’t even get the app to open without crashing. Restarting my phone hasn’t worked, have tried restarting 3 times; it’s gone from instant crash to crashing after 3 seconds.
Amazing app with the best widgets. My only request would to be able to hide all day events in the widget like the iOS
I like Fantastical a lot. It’s really helped me get on top of my life and has plenty of good features. But MY GOD how I wish they did away with the predictive input algorithm. It’s like it was written by a 5 year old. “Oooo they said ‘when’ that must mean they want to set what comes after that to the date/time”… no… the sentence was a reminder to myself that said “Figure out when I can reschedule my dentist appointment to”. Or “Ooo they said ‘in’ that must mean what comes next should be sat as the location.” Again, no. The sentence was “fix drawer in the main room”, I didn’t want you to decide for me how that should be saved. The logic is so painfully simplistic that I just can’t understand how/why anyone would rely on it. There absolutely should be a setting in the app which allows you to toggle it on or off. The amount of pointless retyping I’ve had to do to correct its mistakes has been painful.
I love this app and I’ve been using it over iCal for a few years. HOWEVER. I’m fed up by a bug! When I input a date in the future the calendar jumps back to the current date after the entry. This means it is easy to get disorientated with the calendar when you’re trying to input dates in the calendar through the visual interface. The whole point of a calendar is to orientate yourself in time. When this bug jumps out of one context to another context it defeats the purpose of time orientation that a calendar exists for. Please fix this basic bug!!!!!!!!!!
After paying for Fantastical 2 then losing some of the features in Fantastical 3. I have to pay a subscription to get all the features back again. Waste of money
It is a bit misleading to ask me to create an account and verify THEN you let me know that I have to subscribe to use your app…. if i knew there is no free version I would not have downloaded it.. Why is it available for downloading without charge when you are going to charge anyways? Now my email and my personal information is in your system pointlessly and I am not happy about it
I’ve been a customer for a very, very long time. Long before you could see the privacy levels of an app. Randomly today I thought I’d check Fantastical’s level of privacy. I was saddened to discover that they’ve been tracking us all along, it’s disheartening to say the least.
Given the features in the app, this is not worth the very high subscription price for most people. A once off purchase of $10-15AUD would be appropriate, perhaps with optional paid major version upgrades.
I’ve deleted your app and it refuses to move from my Home Screen. What is going on?
