Used to be my fav calendar app for years. A fully paid for app is now a subscription based model with many new features greyed out unless you subscribe. Plus, I can’t put up with the natural language input any longer. I’m going back to the native calendar app - much better and it’s free.
I’m using the calendar and event widget but it’s behind as to the actual date. It’s current date is Dec 12, whereas now it’s the 16 if there’s an update where you guys could possibly fix this glitch or something that would be great! Otherwise I’m really enjoying this app!
With the last update, Apple Watch face is blank for the complication. Pls fix.
This is not worth the $ or subscription. It went from 4-5 stars to 3 and maybe less. It used to be a great deal. The editors choice award is almost half a decade ago. Get the same features in free apps.
This was tied with 1Password for the best app on the App Store. That was when I bought a fully functioning app with no subscription. I was happy to pay for new releases every couple of years. With the subscription, it’s too much for a calendar app. Full disclosure: I still use the “no subscription” version, and get some features due to my long-term history in using this app. Wish they would reduce the price of the subscription (or perhaps give long-term users a discounted price). Ah well. Guess this is the way of the App Store now. Such a shame.
I’ve been a long time user of Fantastical. If you’re somebody who enters in calendar items on a daily basis and use third-party services like Microsoft exchange teams or Zoom do yourself a favour and buy the subscription. The simplicity of the interface is miles ahead of everything else.
Fantastical is the 2nd app I install on any new Apple device or computer right after 1Password. The natural language system for entering events is amazing and once you know the shortcuts for choosing calendar events or adding reminders it really makes adding things to your calendars quick and easy. And their transition to a subscription app was so well done. Want fancy mew features? Get premium. If you were happy with the app you had, then you still have a wonderful functioning app.
Using this app since 2017, little by little, theyre removing features of the free version... as of this month, dont see the calendar in widgets as an option anymore... thinking to find another calendar app

I had lots of hope for the family subscription, but little to no realization! I’ve cancelled my yearly subscription I wouldn’t do it again!
