Hving bought this app once, I lost access to it when it became a subscription service. They seem to have since addressed this, and I can once again use the app. I can't say if its worth the subscription, but the app itself is the best calendar app i've used.
Scam.
I payed early for the app it used to be the best but now they screw over their paying users and force us, same people that supported them to get where they are, in to extra subscription fees. Example: It asked to connect to my apple watch but once i stalled & opened the app on the watch it said “nah you have to subscribe now to use it”. And they show “half” the information in the calendar but cross out some. Ugly as hell. and As an influencer with 500K+ I will do my best to tell people what disgusting tactics these people use, this company clearly doesn’t care about their customers and only care about money.
Too expensive for the value it offers
End of the day, it's a calendar app. All the bells and whistles don't justify the ever increasing price of yearly subscription. I've canceled and will be switching to an alternative that will give me 95% of the value for a fraction of the cost.
Unacceptable
Impossible to open this app anymore, it is crashing every time! This is unacceptable since I’m using it as my main calendar! Absolutely unusable.

3.8.3 crashes with iOS 17.02
Crash boom bang ☹️
After updating to iPadOS 17, the latest version of Fantastical crashes every time I try to open the app on my iPad Pro. The beta version of iPadOS 17 has been out for months but still the developer has problems when Apple releases a new OS to the public 😡 Not impressed by an app that I have to subscribe to!
Competent but messy
Fantastical can do everything you can think of, but I don’t find it very nice to use. The UI is overloaded. There are buttons and iron on every pixel. Some things you can configure away, but not all. I especially don’t like the widgets, as I find them way too messy to want to keep them on my home screen.

The best, but perhaps a modernised design one day? Beauty makes one happy
