I’ve had this for about five years. Almost every time I had an appointment I have to check the details because sometimes it puts it in as “all day“ even though I’ve entered the time in the description. Have actually found myself missing appointments because of this calendar. Rubbish.
I would love to tell you about how this app started off amazing and then went downhill, but first, in order to read my review I need you to subscribe to my reviews for £5.99 a month or £59.99 annually.
In terms of features, active development, multiple account capabilities and notifications, this is the best app I've used for managing my calendars, and has been for years. But, I can't currently unsee the clunkiness of using the app. Scrolling my list of events isn't smooth - the list seems to jump about whilst scrolling. Scrolling the day picker to certain days makes the event list jump about, and doesn't show the first event of the day usually. I hope it improves but I've seen this constantly for a while now. I assume it's because I have multiple calendars, but I can't be sure.
I have tried many others and keep coming back to this. 👍👍👍

Basic features I would consider essential for a calendar are paywalled. Why would I use a calendar where I have to pay for categories, to accept invites, for travel time, to see the event in my time zone, etc… when literally every other calendar out there can do this for free? I’m sure it’s better than apple’s calendar, but £60/year is far too high for features that are just basic essentials for a calendar
This is by far the best calendar service I’ve ever used. I’ve been using this superb software from the very beginning and am delighted to subscribe to ensure its continuous development and refinement. It looks great, it has great, easy-to-use features and has the slickest UI and most streamlined UX of any calendar app out there. Bravo!
However, the view is not developed well. It all seems cramped together (when you look from a week) and too limited when looking on a single day, perhaps add a view of several days. The desktop app keeps crashing whilst choosing the time for a task Overall, I have tried many apps and have found this one to be the best for my needs.
Been looking for a productivity tool for absolutely ages that hosts all my calendars and tasks so I can manage my days better. The fact that my tasks get moved automatically to the next day if incomplete is just one of the many features I love! Highly recommend
I have been a Fantastical user/subscriber for many years and wouldn't consider using anything else. But, very occasionally, I look around to see if there is another app I should be using. There just isn't anything that comes close.
