Syncing to Google Calendar stopped working properly. Events that are added on the desktop don’t appear on mobile and vice versa, but only randomly. It works 10% of the time, which makes it even more frustrating. Reinstalling apps, deleting preferences, removing and re-adding accounts didn’t help. After years of using Fantastical I can’t recommend it to anyone.
With the price of subscription increased over 60%, I would advise you to consider whether it’s worth it for you as many of the features are covered by other, less expensive calendar apps. The pricing change was also communicated poorly.

I use this on the go. I create and re-schedule meetings, my peers also change things. I am looking for a very simple thing: 100% up to date calendar. Unfortunately, Fantastical is not. Having good UI, it falls short on a basic function so no value in using it. More specific: - invitation may not reflect in your calendar, not after an hour since it’s sent. Not the case all the time, but a broken clock is also right 2 times a day - when I get an update for a meeting, it’s not also reflected immediately. Sometimes never. - when I send out an invitation, sometimes it never gets sent to anyone. This is total crap. I have almost missed a meeting because of that - when people reply to my invitation, their status is not quickly updated, if ever. I understand that developing software is hard and you need to stand out. I admit that UX is great and I really enjoy an app. But I can’t use it because it is very unreliable.
Made Flexibit account, everything set up, but since then, it doesn’t sync with Apple Watch anymore. Rebooted both devices, uninstalled/installed apps from both devices, tried everything, but the problem remains Bad update, especially for us that bought the app a few years ago. Not fair.

Once I realized how to get day number on the app icon it started to shine! Best calendar app out there, must have!
If you are looking to replace the default Calendar app, this one is the best.
