Used to be a great calendar app, and still is, but Apple’s Calendar and Reminder apps have matured enough to make this obsolete for me. As a freelance developer I still used it for Openings, but that is glitching out a lot for me lately so I decided to end my subscription.

Fantastical has proven to me for years to be just that much better than the Apple’s standard Calendar app, motivating me to pay a considerable annual license fee. The only However, they now (May 2023) increase the annual cost by 50% (!!!). That’s the tipping point for me to say goodbye. Back to Apple’s Calendar which, by the way, has seen considerable upgrades and new features in the latest system upgrades. Sorry Flexibits…
So the developers decided to give a 50% discount to new subscribers, and at the same time increase the price to 70€ for everyone else ? I’m out !
Great app, essentially the missing calendar app on an iPhone. Premium services exceptionally expensive, which costs the app two stars in the review. The way in which the upgrade to a subscription model was introduced, making “premium” some previously free features, was unfair.

What the hell with this increase! We bought the app first, then we say ok for subscription model without conviction..but…And now approximately 50% increasing price from 40€ to 70€ per year!! Are you aware that it’s a calendar app? Sorry, but it’s enough, will search another app. You are killing the model and your app.
With the new pricing I’m out for good. This is not worth the money anymore. I was using the app for over 5 years, I payed for the 2020 update yearly with was +- €40 (which was already more than enough), now €70. Nothing can justify this insane price bump!
For several weeks now, unable to create recurring events anymore. Event only appears once. Please fix this glitch.
I’ve been a paid user since v1. Last year I heavily debated if the 50pt off first year was worth it; and now they are hiking up the price EVEN MORE. Like 70 euro for a calendar app?! A year?! Are you f## kidding me!! And I am an app developer myself. At least my SaaS app uses expensive servers; what does your app use? Oh! Yes my devices.. and my google account I already pay for! Greedy. I don’t care about Cardhop. Or the meeting scheduler. I just want to filter all the calendars I have.. and yet THAT is behind the paywall as well. 🤦♀️ just. No.
