Does not populate.

About every 2 weeks it does not open (just shows a blank screen with those lines showing that it’s loading but doesn’t load) and so I have to delete the app and download it again. It’s a tedious flaw.

App seeing a decline

Constant crashing and white screen, emails freeze when loading

Blank screen when resumed

The app often shows a blank screen when opened, which requires a force quit to fix. Get email notification -> Tap -> Blank screen Wanna check email -> tap Home Screen icon -> blank screen This has been a problem for a year and still hasn't been fixed.

Hangs on blank screen

I’m having to kill the app and restart it nearly every time I use it because it just shows a blank screen.

Update: 6 months later after my first review below and the app is still not fixed. If anything, it’s got worse. I have to constantly force quit the app pretty much every single time I want to use it. I’m paying for their service, so I expect better. Won’t be renewing my sub and I’m in the process of moving to a better provider. Dropping my score to two stars. ———- Great email app, but… of late, the app just shows a blank screen and you have to restart the app to get it to work. Happens about two or three times a day. The app never used to do this.

Ok until recently

Mostly a good email app for accessing my fastmail until recently Now notifications only show a new message has arrived, instead of showing the message details. And tapping a notification often brings up the app with a white screen, a forced restart of the app is needed to see any email. Hopefully I will be able to revise this review soon!

Hangs on startup after 17.4

An upgrade to 17.4 has caused the app to hang with a blank screen on startup after authentication

Good app but works poorly on shaky internet

The app is coooonstantly hanging on a white screen and won’t work unless I manually kill it. I can’t remember this happening previously but now it’s daily. I also really really really want to be able to use the app when I don’t have a perfect internet connection. There are plenty of times you need to refer to something in an email you had open just 5 minutes earlier and now you’re in an elevator, the tube, central London and you have no signal. Quite like the service but this is a major flaw.

Have to constantly force-quit

I’ve been using Fastmail for over a year and love it. However, the iOS app frustrates me. Quite often (at least 2 times a day) when I open the app it is stuck on a blank screen. The only way to fix it is to force quit the app and then upon reopening it loads just fine. Please fix this!

Constant crashing when opening the app and no offline access

Most times when I open the app it’s just a blank screen. I need to kill it and reopen it, it’s been like that for months and I’m not the only one affected. Also, still no way to read emails without a network connection.
