Dessiner des animaux étapes Reviews
Volume level number, iOS widget and Apple Home app integration
Will be useful if can see the volume level number especially when controlling it remotely where one cannot see the device display. Great if have iOS widget for volume and mute control. Can add Uniti Atom to Apple Home app but does not offer any useful functionality.
Needs modernising
The app could be more user-friendly. The search function is not sufficiently powerful. For users who are not tidal subscribers, there should be a way to turn off all the tidal title suggestions. The auto-cataloging feature puts some albums in the wrong category, or into different categories with similar names when they are actually the same.
Bugs
Latest updates: realised that if u go to other app, after which u return to Naim app, album etc other option become unable to select...
Hope naim audio response to my email replies
Functionally ok but could be better
Installed it when trying out the uniti on loan from a friend.
- Album art don't work
Not sure if it is possible by design but it should allow searching of tracks or artist name.
Value? No. Necessary? Yes.
Surprised not to see more reviews about this ap. The NAIM community is large enough! Anyways... this is a lot of money for what it is and shame on NAIM for not including it with their Uniti & HDX series. That grumble asside.... make sure when you install it that you configure your iPhone for your wireless LAN entering your routers WEP key into your phone. THEN... it will recognise your NAIM device which you can operate anywhere that your iPhone is in range of your router. As an application it is billy-basic but is a lot easier than trying to read the green monochrome display on the NAIM unit itself.
Was it worth US$40? No. Do you have any choice? No (unless crawling on the floor to read your Uniti screen is fine by you)
Having been a fairly loyal customer of NAIM for 15 years, this small and arguably "cheap" trick has definately left a sour taste in my mouth.
Looses Stare
On the positive side, I have never had any connectivity issues - but all I have is a single Atom HE connected via ethernet and accessed by an iPad and iPhone via a BT vanilla WiFi network….
Overall the UI is OK but what frustrates me about the app is the way it still looses state when you switch from one option to another and back again - eg say I was listening to Qobuz and a news flash comes up, I switch to to Internet Radio to hear whats happened and then switch back- what I was listening to on Qobuz has gone as has anything else I had queued up..
I fail to understand why this obvious use case hasn’t been sorted.
Focal Bathy volume problem
I purchased a pair of Focal Bathy headphones from Richer Sounds and now having been using them regularly for over a month, I’ve noticed an issue with them. Basically it’s with the volume adjustment and finding the headphones either too quiet or too loud. I just want to be able to turn them up by a small amount, but the jump up in volume at this point is too large and overpowering. It goes from not quite loud enough" to "too loud" quickly, (in one volume step) there’s simply not enough adjustment range . At the moment, I just cannot enjoy listening to them. A firmware update could solve this problem as I’m not the only one with this issue. Having seen it described online by quite a few other uses on different headphone forums so it’s not only me.
It turns out these headphones only have 16 increments of volume whilst most other headphones including my Sony’s have 32 increments of volume allowing for fine adjustment.
Waaaaay better
Blimey. What have Naim done? App improved and now works seamlessly. Nice.
What is going on?
Used to word fine, now have constant connection issues.
