UPnP servers unavailable with ethernet sharing to ipad. Using Wifi with ipad lets me see my UPnP servers. Please fix. Very happy so far using this app with ipad through USB internet sharing from mac. Finally Room sticks in app. Well done Naim!

Om det inte vore för att jag kan köra min Naimanläggning skulle en etta vara farligt nära. Men nu kan jag faktiskt köra min Naimanläggning med appen. Så det blir en tvåa. En trea skulle vara samma sak som godkänt, det vill jag inte ge. Jag är bortskämd med bra programvaror. Jag har möjlighet att köra Roon också, fast det blir lite mer elektronik inblandad då, det vill jag undvika. Roon är ju så bra att jag måste ha den som referens, Roon är en femma, det gör också att Naims egen app i nuläget inte får mer än två i betyg. Tyvärr! Jag skulle betala för att få upp kvaliteten på applikationen. Tveklöst! Suck! Man blir avtänd varje gång man använder appen, det är bara när musiken startar man blir glad igen. Naim som sagt...

The app is not that intuitive because of that it has a learning curv. Even when you got the hang of it it’s not really that great. For instance there seem to be no way to see latest played when using Tidal. But the real downside is that after the last upgrade I can’t pause or skip tracks in tidal. Please remedy as soon as possible.

On the positive side, I have never had any connectivity issues - but all I have is a single Atom HE connected via ethernet and accessed by an iPad and iPhone via a BT vanilla WiFi network…. Overall the UI is OK but what frustrates me about the app is the way it still looses state when you switch from one option to another and back again - eg say I was listening to Qobuz and a news flash comes up, I switch to to Internet Radio to hear whats happened and then switch back- what I was listening to on Qobuz has gone as has anything else I had queued up.. I fail to understand why this obvious use case hasn’t been sorted.

I purchased a pair of Focal Bathy headphones from Richer Sounds and now having been using them regularly for over a month, I’ve noticed an issue with them. Basically it’s with the volume adjustment and finding the headphones either too quiet or too loud. I just want to be able to turn them up by a small amount, but the jump up in volume at this point is too large and overpowering. It goes from not quite loud enough" to "too loud" quickly, (in one volume step) there’s simply not enough adjustment range . At the moment, I just cannot enjoy listening to them. A firmware update could solve this problem as I’m not the only one with this issue. Having seen it described online by quite a few other uses on different headphone forums so it’s not only me. It turns out these headphones only have 16 increments of volume whilst most other headphones including my Sony’s have 32 increments of volume allowing for fine adjustment.

Blimey. What have Naim done? App improved and now works seamlessly. Nice.

Used to word fine, now have constant connection issues.
