Yes we understand this is supposed to be an “audiophile” amplifier and Naim don’t like tone controls as they want their sound to be “natural”. But we all have different tastes, speakers and rooms. Adding a bass and treble control wouldn’t be that hard surely and make it so it can be turned on or off by the user so they can make the choice. Great amp, built like a tank, brilliant screen and app but just missing that one thing. IMO.
Focal Bathys headphones connected find and setup with the app install. Then when I reinstalled the app with a new phone months later the app will not maintain connection to the headphones to enable any changes. There seems to be no way to get support for these products or the app unless I write a review.
This app is really unreliable and almost guaranteed to fail when you want it most. I have 3 naim streamers and initially I thought one of them was malfunctioning because the internet radio couldn’t pick up channels other than local. Then the local kept disconnecting. Finally I tried all the other rooms then realised it’s across all the naim software that relies on the app. Try and get help with that and you’ll be lucky but the best thing I recommend is delete the app re install it and cross fingers - you might have to do that every three months it’s that unreliable
If these Naim devices didn’t require this app to be useful it probably wouldn’t matter, but they do, and this app is terrible so all of the hard work that the engineers have done building the systems is wasted.
Allow us control headphones without having to start the app every time.
The app to control my Naim streamer struggles to manage my Tidal subscription. Why does it have to be this way? Get some decent developers and invest in a better software experience.
I can no longer connect reliably to my Muso Qb. It was reliable up until recently. The Muso Qb is a good product but I have no tolerance for poor software. This experience has turned me off Naim which is a shame as I was about to purchase a high price Naim streamer.
It would be good if one were able to adjust the treble and base independently instead of positioning the muso against a wall or away from a wall during set up . Some music just needs a bit more of either, come on guys, also the app goes into searching mode and you cannot get out of this mode it keeps searching for something you don’t have , go back to the old app please
Time for an update and the Room position function no longer works.
The app needs an update as post the recent iOS16 update, the app takes a significant amount of time to find music servers and loses them frequently. This only occurred after updating to iOS 16 and does not happen in the macOS 15 app.
