I have an Oura ring and it is synced to your HRV app. I am no longer getting VO2MAX scores as calculated by your app. For years I did but am no longer getting the calculation. Help
As of 4 days ago, I am no longer able to connect to oura to pull my metrics or push to training peaks.
I’ve used it every day for the better part of a year now first thing in the morning and I have no complaints. I was leery of the claim that the phone camera would give the same quality data as a HR chest strap but I’ve done a bunch of comparisons and yeah they give basically the same results. Which is nice because my hr strap goes on the fritz sometimes. It’s worth the money and it’s not a subscription thank god.
Doesn’t work. Very annoying when it resets every 30 seconds (out of 60) and tells you to readjust your finger on the camera that hasn’t moved. Waste of $10. Deleted.
I’ve used this app for years and it continues to decline. At the last update it stopped syncing to Aura ring, and now it refuses to sync to Apple health also. I’ve emailed and they offer useful assistance. Time to change to a different app.
I’ve been taking HRV since 2013 and moving to HRV4Training when it first came out. It does what it’s designed to do and does it well.
I wanted this app to sync the raw HRV data read from Oura into TrainingPeaks. It doesn’t actually send the raw HRV number instead it’s sending a score which is not HRV.
I use this app to record my resting heart rate and HRV every morning, and it's been reliable over the years. However, a few minor bugs stop me from giving it a 5-star rating. Fortunately, they don't affect the accuracy of the readings. I'll up my rating when these issues are fixed: 1) Vibration setting only vibrates at the end of a reading, not at the start. 2) Runs in fullscreen mode, hiding status bar items like time, battery, and Dynamic Island activity. 3) Start and end sleep time controls don't respect the device's time format setting (24-hour vs. AM/PM).
I had been using this for three years successfully. For more than a month, the app says it has my OuraRing data but there is no display. Reached out to support and no reply. Is this app still supported? Disappointed because as an athlete, this is one of the only HRV apps that didn’t tell me that I was pushing myself too hard every day rather than most that are for general fitness.
