Description

1) variaciones agudas o diarias de la frecuencia cardíaca en respuesta a diferentes estresores (alcohol, días de viaje o enfermedad, entrenamiento, menstruación, etc.);
2) tendencias multiparamétricas a largo plazo que permitan tener una visión general;
3) correlaciones entre medidas fisiológicas y anotaciones personales;
4) análisis de la carga de entrenamiento, de la condición física, de la fatiga, de la predisposición a rendir y del riesgo de lesiones;
5) estimación de VO2max para corredores y ciclistas que además utilizan Strava o TrainingPeaks;
6) análisis del entrenamiento polarizado (o 80/20);
- Consejos basados en la variabilidad del ritmo cardíaco, que ayuda a adaptar los entrenamientos basándose en medidas objetivas de recuperación;
- Etiquetas que permiten etiquetar sueño, energía mental, dolor muscular, estrés y todos los parámetros que permitan entender lo que está influyendo en tu condición física y en el estrés fisiológico;
- Sensores de frecuencia cardíaca que funcionan con un sensor Bluetooth (se recomienda el Polar H7) o, en su defecto, con la cámara de un teléfono móvil;
- Configuración de la medida (unipolar u ortostática, con intervalos configurables de 1, 3 o 5 minutos);
- Extracción y almacenamiento de las siguientes medidas tanto tumbado como de pie: frecuencia cardíaca, media de los intervalos de latido a latido (AVNN), desviación estándar de los intervalos normal a normal en los latidos cardíacos (SDNN), raíz cuadrada media de las sucesivas diferencias N-N (rMSSD ), porcentaje de la diferencia entre intervalos adyacentes R-R que son mayores de 50 ms (pNN50), potencia en el rango de baja frecuencia (LF, 0.04-0.15 Hz), potencia en el rango de alta frecuencia (HF, 0,15 a 0,40 Hz);
- Visualización de la señal PPG para asegurar la calidad de la señal durante la prueba si se usa la cámara en lugar de un sensor Bluetooth;
- Recovery Points: una métrica única y sencilla que analiza tu condición física;
- Resúmenes demográficos y de personas parecidas a ti que pongan tus datos en perspectiva; Análisis de compromiso y constancia;
- Integración con Health App (registra la frecuencia cardíaca y el sueño, atendiendo a su duración);
- Exportación de datos a un e-mail o a Dropbox;
- Conexión a TrainingPeaks, Oura, Coros y Strava.

Great HRV App

I’ve used it every day for the better part of a year now first thing in the morning and I have no complaints. I was leery of the claim that the phone camera would give the same quality data as a HR chest strap but I’ve done a bunch of comparisons and yeah they give basically the same results. Which is nice because my hr strap goes on the fritz sometimes. It’s worth the money and it’s not a subscription thank god.

Inconsistent

Doesn’t work. Very annoying when it resets every 30 seconds (out of 60) and tells you to readjust your finger on the camera that hasn’t moved. Waste of $10. Deleted.

Fail

I’ve used this app for years and it continues to decline. At the last update it stopped syncing to Aura ring, and now it refuses to sync to Apple health also. I’ve emailed and they offer useful assistance. Time to change to a different app.

Functional to the Max

I’ve been taking HRV since 2013 and moving to HRV4Training when it first came out. It does what it’s designed to do and does it well.

Not what I was expecting

I wanted this app to sync the raw HRV data read from Oura into TrainingPeaks. It doesn’t actually send the raw HRV number instead it’s sending a score which is not HRV.

Almost Perfect

I use this app to record my resting heart rate and HRV every morning, and it's been reliable over the years. However, a few minor bugs stop me from giving it a 5-star rating. Fortunately, they don't affect the accuracy of the readings. I'll up my rating when these issues are fixed: 1) Vibration setting only vibrates at the end of a reading, not at the start. 2) Runs in fullscreen mode, hiding status bar items like time, battery, and Dynamic Island activity. 3) Start and end sleep time controls don't respect the device's time format setting (24-hour vs. AM/PM).

Used to be amazing

I had been using this for three years successfully. For more than a month, the app says it has my OuraRing data but there is no display. Reached out to support and no reply. Is this app still supported? Disappointed because as an athlete, this is one of the only HRV apps that didn’t tell me that I was pushing myself too hard every day rather than most that are for general fitness.

Great app

Supplements Watch Data for Managing Chronic Health Conditions

vuitton.fan on

United States

I supplement my Apple Watch data with this manual HRV reading every morning to monitor my parasympathetic system that's affected by a chronic neurological health condition. I've taken my reading every morning for more than a year under consistent conditions, same finger on the camera at the same time every morning prior to any external stimulants like food, coffee or activity, and I find the reading to be an accurate predictor of how I'm going to feel and fare for the rest of the day (low parasympathetic frequency means my body is struggling.) I've also had times where my HRV reading is super low but I feel fine and I think pffft this thing is off, and then I come down with a virus three days later, proving again that the HRV app knows if I'm sick before I know I'm sick!! I've taken measurements with this app while simultaneously checking heart rate with both an oximeter and my Apple Watch, and HR has been accurate so maybe those reviewers who had accuracy issues had older phones. Even my doctors find this data fascinating, since the correlation to my neurological symptoms has proven time and again to be accurate. Another great tool to have in my health management toolbox!
