Inflow Reviews

Supportive and Easy to Use

I have used InFlow for the past two months since I was diagnosed with ADHD at age 40. I have found the modules to be curated for what I need, based on a quiz when you first sign up. And I can’t access the other modules until I’ve finished mine (great for my ADHD distraction lol). The lessons are easy to follow and the key ideas and brain hacks from each lesson help to solidify the messages, because you can book mark those tidbits. I LOVE the live focus rooms on Zoom for support and staying accountable for workdays or household tasks. The hosts are lovely and knowledgeable. It’s nice to know I am not alone! And the community “question of the day” is great for quick check ins and discussion with limits on how much you can write. Again. Perfect for ADHD brain 😆

I am desperate to figure out how to manage my ADHD. I wanted this app to change my life. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. If you’re someone who has investigated other tools, chances are that none of the info will be new. The most painful part for me is that the most frequent tip is to journal, or write it down. My executive functions are deficient; I am terrible at time management. Finding time to journal or write it down and reflect is often a time consuming and stress-inducing task. When I end up not journaling every emotion, I will be overcome with feelings of failure and shame. This just isn’t the tool for me.

Pricing is deeply out of touch

Charging $60 a month or $250 a year is absurd. Not in this economy. I’ll go buy a book thanks. Wild.

Doesn’t live up to it’s word

I am pretty disappointed with this company because going in they make promises that they don’t keep. I did the 7 day trial which is not enough time for a person with ADHD to get a feel for whether it is something they can commit too. It seemed really promising and so I didn’t cancel and ended up paying the full year subscription. It is not cheap but I felt hopeful that it would be worth it. I did well in staying committed for two weeks but then something disrupted the routine and I started to struggle with even remembering that I had the app let alone that I paid a few hundred dollars for it. The biggest selling point for me was that there was the mentors that you speak with to help you and I was open about my struggles with the app with then. But one day that options was just gone. I went to message the person and couldn’t find our chat and haven’t been able to since. Contacted support and never heard back from them!! Another selling point was that they seemed understanding of how ADHD works and committed to offering refunds anytime no questions. I wrote support to talk about getting at least a partial refund because I just wasn’t receiving any value from the app, it just wasn’t working for me. I never heard back from them. This is a gigantic red flag and I really regret spending the money. I would proceed with caution before giving any money to a company as inconsistent as this one.

Be careful , hard to contact

Understanding ADHD should not cost money.

Subscription

I’m sure this is a great app but it isn’t for me. Why I am giving a 1 star review is because of the free trial and subscription. I do the free trials to see what the app is like I try to cancel as soon as I sign up as I will forget to cancel. I went to do this with this app and was not going to get the free trial. I was assured that I would get an email prior to the subscription being renewed but this did not happen. For an app that deals with ADHD and is supposed to be really good this is not a good practice as we do not remember to do this. I didn’t not get an email and I was charged today a lot of money for something I will not use. I really hope it gets reversed asap.

Over priced

Legit people are struggling with their mental health and the audacity for the subscription is mind blowing. This is why people with mental illnesses cant receive the help they need. Greedy company.

Fragmentation? Born with it. Traumatic brain injury jostled another round with ADHD. Also invoked PTSD - another trigger for ADHD. The TRIFECTA of blessings😂. This app helped me so,so much in the beginning with my journey to recovery. So much in fact, that I have even put myself back together as a better me. My struggles are fewer - but as everything - hyper is reality. I find myself checking in more so than formulating game plans now a days - but honestly - I have so much to thank these wonderful people for. My struggles today are not so much executive function and spouting off - just the fun stuff like “where’s my keys”. But suggestions on how valuable change can be incorporated into my routine will always be welcome in my books. ie (Launch-pad!!) I hope that my review offers you a truthful insight as to how well embracing mindful strategies can work to overcome your own barriers. I wish you best success on your journey!
