Unreliable products and horrible customer service
The essential strips don’t respond half the time and constantly need to be reset. If you’re lucky they might work for a few days at most before once again becoming unresponsive. This issue has only gotten worse with the new HomeKit updates. Similar issues with canvas, but less frequently. The adhesive provided for the mini-triangles stays put for a couple days, then the pieces begin falling off the wall. Customer Service was absolutely the worst when I reached out about an order. Making up all kinds of excuses and then even saying they needed a tax number to send (Taiwan doesn’t issue tax numbers for consumer imports.) I actually ended up receiving the order, but customer service was somehow clueless and still kept telling me they needed some nonexistent tax number or they’d cancel the order. Absolutely bizarre. (I’d had other orders come in from their division in Hong Kong prior to this normally and with no issues.) It seemed politically motivated (China does issue tax numbers for consumer imports, but of course Taiwan is a completely separate country from China.) If you are going to buy their products, which at this point I’d strongly discourage, buy from their authorized reseller here in Taiwan so you don’t have to deal with their customer service or their Hong Kong division.
