Great. When it’s working
Lights been fun. Worked for a long time then wouldn’t connect so used it as a normal bulb switching at the wall. Found how to reset the bulb with 5 power cycles and now it’s back working properly. Yay. Thanks Nanoleaf!!

Hello I’m Bo1nker5 and I’m rating this a 4 out of 5 because although it’s good it doesn’t connect all the time even when I’m next to the Nano leafs but other the that it’s amazing.
Great lights - app is useless. Crashes everyday. This app needs serious work and vast improvements
Nothing works out of box then once you have it working, at some point in the future it will start failing. Pairing is nigh on impossible - NFC doesn’t work and the camera built into the app refuses to focus on the QR code. Sadly I no longer recommend this product to people.
This app is soo laggy. It’s so hard to control my lights with this app 🙄
I have the nanoleaf original panels, and every time I play a scene, the lights freeze and do not continue the dynamic scene. It is frustrating and annoying. The app has barely been updated for years, and is difficult to use.
Firmware updates and scene downloads are both unreliable with no useful error messages provided if they fail

Overall the products are great & app usually is too. Although recently the bulbs have been turning themselves on for no apparent reason (in silent room with no radio/tv sounds) Lights have turned themselves on without prompt 5 times tonight. The app doesn’t allow me to update firmware “retry” error pops up whenever I attempt to update. Not an internet issue either, would rate higher if these issues weren’t persisting
As a few of these reviews have mentioned, it is a great app, however when lights are disconnected from the phone, it’s virtually impossible to reconnect. Have been to support a few times and being suggested the same thing each time (make sure lights are at 2.4Ghz, refresh and all that) about this and the most recent time, I am just being completely ignored. I have to activate it from my laptop which is fine. But I miss using it on my phone.
