The apps cannot operate properly after updated

I switched from Asus wifi 7 to netgear. At least it’s much more expensive. I want a more reliable mesh as I have many IoT & smart devices. Now I move my smart devices to Orbi. The app features in orbi is so basic compared to Asus. I hope it’s more reliable and higher performance which is most critical

App updated. Still have issues to update firmware at the app. It have been years this issue did not rectify. Keep on updating app but firmware still error. Email your netgear team but the email address is fake

Has been using it for more than 3 years running 24/7. It was my best decision to spent $1,500 for Netgear router model RB853 to boost my wifi home system. So far, it served me very well, a great product from Netgear, good job.

Its very lousy. Always disconnected and very hard to get them to work properly. If i can give negative feedback I definitely give a minus 10 point.

Annoying as hell when you try to change a network name and it revert back to it original text!! Fix this so that we can easily know which connection is down etc instead of looking at the product code😡

There seems to be taking a similar approach to google wifi with very limited configuration you can do on the app. The lack of control of which band of frequency to broadcast and no alert when satellite is having issue is a bummer since the AP itself is so costly. During my short usage of few week I noticed my PS5 got this disconnect for a short while and satellite AP lost connectivity to main AP on two separate occasions but found nothing on the logs for the cause of the issue.

Make sure the Orbi devices are updated too. Been years since I updated and the bugs that I encountered were wiped out.
