The router has been performing well - I have just recently been having issues with the satelites. They started to struggle connecting to the main router, and firmware updates just don’t work via the app.
The ability to unblock access has never worked. All updates have never fixed this. What is the point?
Finally a product with seamless installation and software setup. The unboxing was a pleasure, especially with the small cardboard handels.😎 I enjoyed the app and the fact that I did not need my laptop at all, even with the advance ISP setup. Well done Netgear, worth every penny!
Netgear, up your game.
Best mesh system which is so easy to use with app . Super fast WiFi on every device everywhere in the home
Enables the Orbi system as access point mode only as Xbox one x picks up double NAT errors. The pairing process to calix gigahub is not seamless and the process does not disable the Radios on the ISP router The app process whilst it’s intent is simplistic the complexity lies in settings like upnp and nat for gaming consoles etc to connect to
The remote management does not work.
I do like this router, so much so that I purchased another satellite for the older system I have. We Needed after we put up, a new addition with a second floor, saving up for the newest and best to replace it soon. Unfortunately, I just looked at their new 3-unit system and it's almost $3K
Netgear’s products are incredibly frustrating to use. Even when you save the password for automatic login, the system constantly claims the password is incorrect, forcing you to reset it. After resetting, it works for a while, but within a week or so, it tells you the password is wrong again. This repetitive cycle is why I switched to the UniFi system. Netgear’s application and equipment are simply unreliable and poorly designed.
