The ÖBB App comes with the following features:

• Pay your fares on the go with SimplyGo! The handy add-on for the ÖBB App automatically identifies the routes you travelled and calculates the matching public transport fare for your complete journey
• Secure your favourite seat on the Railjet: use the graphic seat reservation
• Find the best fare: see the ÖBB train services sorted by lowest fare first
• ÖBB Account: conveniently and securely store your personal data and means of payment, save your favourite routes, and receive additional exclusive offers (e.g. the Vorteilscard 66 discount card)

2nd time it let me down in the middle ticket check
On my way, waiting for the ticket control on the train, I attempted to buy my return ticket…
Time table searching crashed the app…
So much, that I neither could start the app on my two other iOS devices …
Tried several uninstall/ reinstall- sadly the app retain it’s status (logged in state too) over these actions …
A “lucky” search - and You will see no running ÖBB app on ANY iOS devices of Yours…
Internet access will remind You to stick using Your mobile- that’s is Your ticket…
Hopefully I will finish this journey without penalties…
This application is buggy and has terrible UX
The most sad part of the whole thing is that the previous version worked much better.
The new update is broken!!!!!!
The new update sometimes show my 66 ticket prices, sometimes the hourly ticket price, which is 2 times more expencive….
I CAN NOT BUY TICKETS!!!!
Would be fine to fix finally this app……..
Unusable app
This updated version is even worser than it was earlier. Slow and cannot find stations, finding a predefined station takes couple of seconds to come up from the list. Awful. I would have given 0 point if it would have been possible!

Durch den App ist es kaum möglich ein Sitzplatz zu Reservieren. Öfters geht das Kaufen eine Fahrkarte auch nicht durch - trotz mehrmaliger Versuch, ein- und ausloggen, und stabilen Internetverbindung.
Bin unzufrieden!
Unacceptable bug
One update caused for weeks that I couldn’t buy ticket because when I was at the payment method selection window the app just crashed. The slowness is one thing, it can be managed but bugs like this are just making the app unusable. It’s too bad bc otherwise this would be a promising software. If it gets stable it could get 4 starts IMHO
