Planoly: Social Media Planner

I like the app but there are limitations. Firstly you can’t identify which images are pinned so that throws your gird view off, and secondly you can’t upload more than ten images for a carousel despite Instagram supporting twenty. These changes would be very helpful.

I was hoping to use this app to take the stress away having to post multiple posts and stories on insta and different platforms. Unfortunately app is not the friendliest/easiest setup to use. Every post has to be single-handedly added to various platforms with times set over and over again, captions, hashtags rewritten etc. Mistakes keep popping up. You can not create a post and simply send it to all platforms in one go as in copy/paste principle. You have to redo the same post for every single platform and account!!!. Can not add music to stories on insta, loads of either minuses. I really wanted to enjoy this app and hoped it will make my life easier.. instead wasted a lot of time setting it up and uploading 6 posts to my social media and for all that you will also have to pay!! I paid £15 which was supposed to be unlimited uploads and it only gave me 60!!! Really didn’t work out for me. Will look into subscribing to a different app to use in future.

Planoly used to be so good. Now it de-links our business Instagram daily, meaning time wasted fixing this every single day. Today it de-linked as per and now refuses to reconnect at all. Surely this isn’t just an us problem!??

Great app for storing photos. However, if you try upload a reel for instagram, it fails to upload it onto the Planoly app. Reels being the majority of posts on instagram now is a really limiting factor of the app. Every couple of posts the caption from the post doesn’t copy to instagram either, so if you’ve spent a good 30 minutes writing a post and then it deletes, you can imagine the frustration. Good app for storing photos like I said, but so many downfalls elsewhere. Also, very intermittent on if it allows you to upload the reel. If you use reels, do NOT get this app.

honestly i love this app, it makes everything really easy when you have a business! but lately i’ve been finding it hard to link my instagram (haven’t tried linking other socials). i recently unlinked my instagram as it wasn’t showing my current feed all of a sudden and when i tried linking it back says there’s and error and i should try again but when i do try again it’s the same thing error message coming up .. hope this can get fixed 😩

When they don’t have issues it runs like a dream. And the team always respond to any problems immediately.

can’t connect account, can’t log in, so many bugs. annoying

Soooo many issues with the all lately, not opening and freezing and today after updating it I can upload images!!!

Product tags don’t get pulled through. No way to add image description or alt tags for SEO. Manual posting on my iPhone doesn’t work - I tried this due to the product tagging not working but I just get a screen that won’t copy/paste/download/share it’s just cancel or nothing. Paid for a year after a few days trial where all looked perfect. Does not do what’s advertised. Unimpressed.

So confused by all the good reviews!? I spent ages setting up all the social media platforms and getting all the content ready and scheduling for it not to even work… waste of time and money
