How much does Plantum cost?
Plantum has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is €26.92.
This app is fantastic for plant enthusiasts! It allows you to easily log when you water, fertilize, mist, repot, and rotate your plants. You can also keep a journal to track their progress and well-being. Plus, it provides basic plant care information, making it a great resource. However, some of the features are locked behind a paywall. For instance, the light meter, water calculator, and plant diagnosis tools are not available for free. I believe the app has a lot of potential for further improvement. It would be great if the watering schedule could be personalized based on your location, and if the interface was more visually engaging and fun. Adding an AI-powered plant doctor, a “plant grave” feature to track plants that have passed, and a community chat for plant lovers to share tips and showcase their collections would be amazing! Overall, the app is a solid tool, but these added features would make it even better.

What’s worst about this app, is that they don’t outright say that they want you to pay a ridiculously high 65€ price for it, but they try to sneakily get you to subscribe and potentially pay that sum several times unless you’re cautious. There’s no way this app is worth what they’re charging.
Charges 65€ without warning
The app is quite usefull, nyt the way the annual 65€ subscription is activated is scary. The app simply charges 65€ without warning. I would like to deactivate my subscription to avoid another 65€ loss next year but I have not figured out how to do it. Could app product support give me an advice.
Fools you to approve of 65€/year subscription
Watch out- after three days “free” subscription thumbs app will start charging you 65€ a year. This you must “ approve” in a very confusing way to start using the app at all. Total scam!

Be careful! This app turns out to a subscribtion for 65€ without aproval!
Fraud
Be extremely careful when downloading this app. I downloaded it for free and was informed that there were in app purchases, but nothing more. I didn’t enjoy it and thus deleted it shortly after. Two days later it charged me 65€ for a year long subscription to the app, when I had not chosen or consented to any kind of subscription. Thankfully I will get my money back after talking with Apple support, but it’s absolute insanity that a subscription is chosen for you and money are collected from your account just on the basis of downloading a free app.
Killed my Chinese banyon
Followed watering instructions, fertilizing instructions, and still killed my plant. Over watering, under watering cycles, over fertilizing, only using the amount I was told to use for both and still killed my plant. Don’t use this app. What makes it even worse is the premium I paid for that told me to do all this.

This is a scam. Stay away
I have downloaded this app a couple years ago. Had a weekly subscription as I needed it for a couple weeks. They have charging my account weekly about 7-8 dollars since then while I try to cancel my subscription. They do not have an option to cancel the subscription on the app. I had contacted them numerous times over the years to cancel my subscription and they have ignored my request and kept charging my card.
Plant identifier accuracy is poor
Tried to identify small grapefruit tree few times. Got completely different response, including holly. None were correct.
