This app after a couple of years struggling to get there almost got there until this new upgrade… WHY HAVE YOU REMOVED THE SHOWTIMES FROM THE JOURNEY VIEW? This was something we looked forward to seeing which shows we’re on our ship.. not any more?? Looks like we have to wait till we actually board to find out what shows are on the ship.. very poor thing removing this Princess.

My young son’s name appears twice on the app but my husband’s name is missing! I can’t seem to find any way to fix this error. I’m worried this is going to ruin our cruise experience on board as I won’t be able to book my husband in for excursions or purchase other events. We sail on 1st April 2022 and I don’t know how to fix this problem on the app!
I love sailing with Princess and have no issue with the company to travel with. The app however is unstable and super glitchy. Now that it is the only way to address all of the admin requirements before your holiday, it makes the fact that it’s so unstable even more frustrating. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app so many times and I am simply trying to get all of the pre-holiday requirements completed. Every time that I go to do this, it greets me with an error message saying that “There seems to be an issue with this service”. I am directed to call in about it but knowing how long it can take to get through it’s not something that I readily have time to do. Please Princess, invest in your app. Update it and iron out those bugs!
Unfortunately this app is poor vs other cruise line apps e.g. celebrity. Slow to load, tells me I’m a green lane, then a blue lane and then back to a green lane. Princess - please don’t launch something unless it’s fit for purpose. You made a song and dance around your amazing technology which other cruise lines haven’t and they have a superior product to you.
The app isn’t working for me just going around and around and around.. Any advice appreciated
Though I am Platinum member unable to access some of the features. Ie the dining element which states access only for Platinum members and fully paid cruise!!!!!!
1* because you shouldn’t have to do this. We found it worked better to register on 4G than Wi-Fi. Then to login future times it will say Travel Checklist loading. To get around this click link a booking again BUT don’t fill out the form. Simply close it and then press the Go to OceonReady button. Also if you have pre booked speciality meals you can’t redeem them online.
I’ve used hundreds of apps. Few are so slow and buggy as this. Awful links to legacy systems, I just move from one problem to another, and I worked in IT all my life. Mist are impossible to get resolved. Ring support and all they do is email their support, but issues rarely get resolved. Each time I chase I go through same. Like Groundhog Day. Love using Princess but this app has wasted man-days of my life. Throw it away and start again, or give if some proper management attention, and implement a proper support process for users. 😫
The App simply doesn’t work. Can’t understand why Princess allow it to be available in current form?
