If you are undecided, you can hold your booking along with the guaranteed fare for up to 72 hours, for a minimum fee. Booking flights through our mobile app also streamlines the process, allowing you to enter your travel details by simply pointing your mobile phone camera at your passport.

2. COMPLEMENT YOUR JOURNEY

Enhance your journey with an array of additional services. Through our mobile app, you can purchase extra baggage as well as book lounge access, meet and greet services, hotel stays and car rental.

3. MANAGE YOUR BOOKING

Manage your booking conveniently through our mobile app, by adding your booking to “My Trips”. Once added, the app will help you keep track of every step throughout your journey. “My Trips” also allows you to seamlessly change your seat and meal preferences, modify your flight details and much more.

4. CHECK IN

Check in through our mobile app by simply pointing your mobile phone camera at your passport. Choose your seat, view/save your boarding pass and use the fast-bag-drop counters at the airport to check in your bags.

5. GET FLIGHT STATUS NOTIFICATIONS

Through our mobile app, you can request arrival and departure information on all Qatar Airways flights, and receive updated information on the status of your flight directly on your mobile phone, via SMS.

6. FIND EXCLUSIVE OFFERS

Through our mobile app, you can check our special fares for flying to the destinations you have longed to visit. You will always find the same fare available on the website at the time of search (and sometimes, you may even find reduced fares when booking through our mobile app).

Slow app

Almost all interaction with the app loads for at least a few seconds. Keyboard shortcuts does not work.

Using QR app

It’s so easy to use this application then other airlines….. traveling 1 a month by QR Europe to Philippines sense pandemic….so I am happy!!! // Hans Stefan S

Not good enough

Don’t get me wrong, Qatar is a great airline, never disappointed with them. However you would think that with all the fame they would have a better app, it crashes several times meaning you must enter all your info again, this has been the case many years now, I feel that now I must write something, come on Qatar do a better app, I’m sure the cost is a drop in the ocean.

Is Qatar airways still a 5 star airline it claims to be?

I have loved Qatar Airways for a long time and have tried to go out of my way to get anywhere with Qatar Airways due to exceptional hands on personal service and the fact that even in economy you have decent leg room compared to Emirates, Lufthansa, BA… etc Recently I noticed that they are slowly becoming like all the other airlines… I ask my self if it’s because they have joined the one world alliance and they try to adapt? Or is it because they ran out their hands on service and it’s no longer available. Never the less on my last trip a week ago from Copenhagen to Dubai via Doha taking both my wife and kid for autumn vacation we all experienced a downgrade from what we have been used to from our beloved airline. On the way to Dubai the service was simply inadequate, slow and rude both in Business class and economy. Not sure if the staff were overworked, tired or simply mentally not present. I was approached 3 times within 5 minutes by 3 different members of the cabin crew after take off being welcomed as a privilage club gold member … with the plesentary out of the way everything went downhill for the rest of the 6 hour trip to Doha. The Doha to Dubai Trip was as usual pretty ok. Apparently a certain standard is still kept in the short distance with the Gulf destinations. Anyways I did not put much into it as small incidents here and there can happen.. after all we are all humans… then we had the night trip from Doha to Copenhagen on Sunday November 4th. OMG.. the trip was horrible. I sat in economy with my little daughter on the flight leaving Doha 01.55 with arrival 6.40 in Copenhagen. In a brand new dreamliner.. the first thing I noticed was that this new plane had less leg room than any other QA flight that I have ever been travelling with.. I felt like being in a Ryan air flight in terms of space…then on top of it all ..A lady with a small child was cramped behind me with the baby on her lap instead of being given a seat with baby cot and more leg room… afterall the airline has a flight manifesto long before boarding… and as far as I could see there were plenty of seats occupied with no babies in the baby cot seats. As the seat in front of us decided to sleep and reclined their seat back… we were told by the family and a member of cabin crew behind us not to recline the seat because it left her no room with the baby on her lap. I accomedated the lady out of curtesy ..but is it my job as a customer to help QA?? I thought I was the valued customer

Like it. But

You really need to make it possible to use avios from more then one person in a booking. We had a terrible time trying to book with avios and could not sit togeather. Since we had to make 2 bookings. And wait for checkin to change seats. Qatar could do better!!
