Waste of time/money
This is my honest review:
I paid for a 2-year subscription. However, after 2 months, I had to uninstall it from my iPhone because it was blocking my incoming calls and emails, among other things. I also noticed that it was blocking some websites on my PC, especially those I used for booking flights. After 4 months, I had to uninstall it from all my devices due to the stress it caused every time I tried to do something.”

I'm Probably the Problem
I'm 75 and play more than work these days but every game doesn't seem the slightest bit aggrieved by Surf Shark, rather there is an ad beginning at each intake of breath. In other words, to actually complete a single 3 letter word, correctly spelled in the latest Scrabble game I downloaded after buying Surf Shark. I fled after a single turn against each of 4 opponents that included ads with the opportunity to get them to stop quickly. And "delete app" was the final click. So far I haven't found a single game that is miffed by Surf Shark which I actually paid for. Yes, I write too much and ....
Worst customer service I have encountered
DO NOT SUBSCRIBE UNLESS YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Canceled my subscription 3 months ago because it didn’t work on any of my streaming services when I was overseas. Today out of the blue I got an email saying I’ve started a 7 day trial. I hadn’t even touched my phone all day. Checked my Apple Subscription and it was still showing as expired and nothing active. Contacted Apple (which is ALWAYS wonderful by the way) and they confirmed I do not have an active subscription and will have to contact Surfshark. Spoke to a customer service consultant who kept telling me I have a subscription on their system via Apple. It doesn’t matter how many times I explained to him, I didn’t authorised a subscription, Apple confirmed I don’t have a subscription. The ONLY party in this whole saga that said I have a subscription is surfshark. But is Surfshark prepared to help? Nope. Just keep telling me I have a subscription in their system and they can’t do anything about it (and to have the hubris to end the conversation with a smiley emoji). So it looks like I’ll just have to pay for perpetuity since I have no way to get Apple to cancel something that does not exist. Called Apple again, the wonderful agent checked through a million things with me and finally suggested I redownload the app (I deleted it when I unsubscribed, which makes the new subscription even more ridiculous) and deleted my account all together. Let’s see if they have the audacity to charge me in 7 days.
Can’t connect 😐
I am currently in hospital and will be here for some time. SurfShark *cannot make the connection through the hospital wifi system, regardless of how I manipulate the various settings. What’s the big deal? The deal is that I am paying for a service which advertises itself as the secure solution for public wifi and this is one public wifi that SurfShark can’t overcome.

Slowed down my internet did funky things to my email don’t use if your using IOS platforms
Worst service ever!
Typically I don’t give a negative review, and just not review if it’s not ideal as most technology will evolve.
However, Surfshark’s service is so bad.
Trail period everything worked very well, 2 months later it’s not stable for over a month and still no after trying one more month.
Sorry I have a life so won’t be here to test the app forever!!!
I asked for a refund and got notified can not. All good. One year later they charged me again… and still no refund. I’m working on getting refund now.
If you haven’t subscribed yet. Think again and test throughly.
I have to constantly reset my vpn location so it will work
every couple of hours I have change my vpn Location so it will work it’s almost like it times out
ie I'll change it to Perth australia use it all day and it’s fine for 12 or so hours then it’s almost like it’s timed out it won’t load any sites or refresh but then I go into the app and change it to say brisbane australia it works fine again everything else about the vpn works great it’s just that it’s annoying
