Incredible customer support
I am so impressed with the level of service offered by the Support team. We had problems accessing a particular streaming service and in a matter of days the Surfshark team had us reconnected. Their communication and follow-up was outstanding. Highly recommend.
Shocking Speeds
Free rest has amazing speeds so decided to live away from Nord🤦🏻♂️ & then I saw the true side of SS. Poor connections; slow speeds. The don’t even get 500mbps on. 1,000mbps line. I lose so much using the vpn & now deal with more poor connections than what I did with NORD. I regret moving across
Surf shark
Initial installation and installation on different devices is easy and straightforward. After some time of use the app becomes more difficult to work with in that it seems to no recognise network providers I commonly use. This results in me having to pause the app in order to connect to the internet, which leaves me questioning why I purchased the app in the first place. The app seems to require constant reconnection on switching on my laptop even though I have selected the auto connection option in settings. I am seriously questioning if I will renew my subscription.
Can’t get started
I paid for a month to see how it goes. Try to get going and it says I don’t have plan and need to buy one. Try and buy and again and I’m told I have paid so can’t pay again. Deleted app reloaded no joy. Hating the experience doesn’t work and online help doesn’t come this issue.😡
Disappointing Practices DO NOT BUY
I have had Surfshark for years now, after noticing I longer need it I tried to cancel the subscription only to find it is hidden behind a chat bot that is possible to get a hold of. I’ve found that many others are having trouble communicating Surfshark and even getting refunds, as of now I have not been contacted by Surfshark in anyway after reaching out.
Bad customer service
Asked for a refund as they couldn’t assist, said go to apple, apple said go to surf shark. Back n forth. Surf shark will reply and blame apple. Still waiting for my refund. Not trustworthy company!
Doesn’t work at all
It’s not working. It cannot connect to any server at all

I purchased the year sub and after each update the service got worse. Currently can’t even use the service at the moment
Happier
Was with Nord, got a 2yr contract and moved across to SurfShark after a year essentially wasting 1yr left with Nord! Happier, speeds are still a struggle at times however their support is 10/10. With Nord this was non existent….
