FOR BEGINNERS
- Select 2 folders to synchronize.
- Select the synchronization mode, or use the default mode. You do not need to worry about other settings, they are set to the recommended.
- Look at the preview table.
- Click the "Sync current task" button and your folders will be synchronized!

FOR PROFESSIONALS

Simple to Use

Simple to use great for file integeraty between computers and server.

Fully Controllable Sync

This is a very flexible product and I use it primarily to sync information between one cloud and another. This is primarily so that team projects can run collabratively betwen a team and that we all are up to date with each other's input.

Great product

I use this on my MacBook and now on my iPhone. Very precise app to sync in multiple ways. Has saved me hours of time!

Sophisticated but seay to use

I was surprise how simple this app is to use, but digging deeper, how I could customise to suit specific tasks... Recommended.

Just perfect

This app does exactly what it says it does. It can be setup really easily, but you can also tweak it to do just what you want. Once you have it set how you want you can always make sure you have your stuff backed up. Super configurable, or set and forget. It's up to you. It just works.

Can't live without it

I've been using this app for years and I've yet to strike another that gives you the option of a very simple backup operation or a complex, repeating arrangement that ensures continual backups, mirroring, whatever to protect data integrity.

No good if you want to sync direct to Google Drive etc

From what I can see (now I paid my $13...) this app doesn't sync local folders *directly* to Google Drive (the solution I was looking for). It will only copy to the local Google Drive folder on the machine as a destination, which is then actually synced up to the cloud by Google filestream. Seems fine otherwise, but not if you have larger volumes of data to sync (e.g. from a connected NAS like me) as you need space to hold all that on your hard drive once Sync Folders copies it, before it goes to the cloud.

Really Sophisticated Sync!

I sync up files and data between a number of repositories locally and cloud based, and Sync Folders Pro delivers the greatest flexibility and reliability I've found. Being able to set up flexible master / slave / peer sync is great, and I really value the ability to be able to preview what the sync is about to do, so I can see if it's about to make a lot of changes I *hadn't* expected. It's also flexible enough to compare based on a number of criteria - a) Size, b) Timestamp and c) Checksum, and various combinations. Along with good logging, and responsive support, it's great comparison and synchronisation tool Highly Recommended!

Easy to use and versatile

As a MBP (MacBook Pro) user, and a photographer, I keep the current year's photos on my MBP. When I am back at the base I can use FolderSync Pro to synchronise the laptop files with the 24 TB Promise Raid SAN file storage unit automatically. This not only updates the SAN, but ensures that any changes made at either device get synched to the other.

Easy Sync between Cloud and NAS Accounts

I bought this to be able to sync files between my Cloud accounts that synced to my desktop and the NAS Drive on my home network as an additional local backup in case. Works like a charm and gives thart extra level of confidence, removes uncertaintly about my data.
