It's too bad the subscription is so grossly overpriced. This is a great app, but it's just a fasting app. Even at 40% off, the premium version of this app isn't worth more than 25€ per year.
I’ve clocked in more than 1100 fasts on Zero, so it’s clearly been with me for a while. The app has very slowly improved in the sense that any noticeable bugs are gone. It’s changed a bit in other aspects, but TBH not in any way I care for. Too much content for its own sake… I wanted a reliable fast tracker that kept track of my history. That’s really most of what you need. Unfortunately, like many apps of its kind — and in general —, it has expanded the feature set to accommodate more people, and in that process became a bit overkill. And all that came with a price tag of nearly 80€/year, which would place it amongst the most expensive software I use *of all kinds*. This makes Zero almost twice the price of, say, WebStorm; more expensive than a non-renewable purchase of Things on 2 platforms; or even more expensive per year than Little Snitch and Hazel *combined*. It’s not an apples to apples comparison, but then again this is a fancy stopwatch with some blog posts attached. I don’t doubt at all the team deserves to be well compensated for it, and I’m an app developer myself so the price tag is whatever they consider necessary. I just don’t feel like it’s doing much with that renewable subscription. Still, very pretty, reliable, and does the job. Update (Oct. 2023): Zero lost all my data when switching phones, by no longer being able to find my Apple ID account…
This was free, now paid only to log a fast?!
it was good but now, it's non stop asking to pay
The best app when it comes to fasting
I really don't understand how the app works. I say I want to fast 16 hours but I manually need to stop my fast? Why is there no timer?
Three years ago this app was great. Ever since they tried to push their (considerably expensive) subscription they introduced fake paywalls. The app tries hide that it’s just a clock with a calendar log. Now they’ve redesigned their clock (one of two main functions) which doesn’t even allow you to start fasting again right after you tapped to stop fasting. This app literally has two functions and was successful at destroying one of that two for design reasons.
I do several fasts a year. Sometimes in India in a tropical setting. Sometimes at home in Brussels,Belgium. Zero tracks you and helps motivate. It keeps running in the background. App doesn’t have to be opened. Cool !!!
I love this i lost alot of weight because of it because it motivates me and sends me messages if i’m okay and that helps alot
