First of all, it is a very user friendly app. As in it’s interface is not complicated. I like Vix a lot. The way she motivates me to go till the end even when it’s extremely difficult is very empowering. The ZX5 program is really powerful. I haven’t found any app that has such high calorie burning exercise sets. The workout collections are great. There aren’t many long workouts but the short ones that are there are very powerful.
This app is great! Easy to use, engaging and effective. I already enrolled for the hole year! I looove how well it connects to the Apple Watch.
So many different workouts, I’ve never come across the same one. I love how it’s not only workouts but there is motivational talks, yoga/stretching, courses, etc. While you workout the app talks you through your workout and it helps keep me motivated! 10/10 would recommend this app to anyone I know.
As any mom knows, finding time to work out with a little can be tough. I like the program because it’s manageable and I can do it at home during naps. I also like how there are mini workouts too, so even when you think you can’t spare 30 min, you can probably most definitely find 10!
I’ve never been much into exercising but always tried different ways to motivate myself into being more active. It’s always been a struggle, whenever I downloaded a new app I never kept going for long. Maybe it’s the time we are right now, not being able to leave our houses. But when my husband and I got this app, he was more skeptical than I! We love the workouts!! The fact that they’re grouped by sections like lower or upper body, core and stretch is great, because you can choose whatever you want to focus that day. Or maybe you just want to stretch your body and relax from being seated for too long working. We’ve been using this app a LOT! And we love it, it’s not a struggle, it’s fun and you don’t have to do a workout you don’t feel like doida that day just because someone told you. We definitely aprove and recommend it!!
I really like how approachable the length of the workouts are so I can do 2-3 if I feel like it or just 1 and still feels like an effort. It’s also helpful that it shows the varying intensity so you can choose your workouts for your varying energy levels each day. No equipment required was a big factor in my going with Zova, it’s very accessible. The motivational speaking element is encouraging too.
I’ve had Zova for a couple of weeks now and I am absolutely in love. I chose Zova for a few reasons: 1. It is compatible with the Apple TV, I have never been into working out with my tiny little phone screen so this was a huge sell for me! 2. It hooks up to your Apple Watch; syncs the workouts to your phone and Apple Health App and tracks your heart rate which you can also see on the TV throughout the workout! 3. The music (which you can also hook up via your phone and play your own playlists) and instructors voices are great, not phoney and actually motivating!! 4. Set up was simple, I have dealt with many training apps and there have been glitches, sign up made complicated... you get my drift. Zova literally asks you for your email, you sign up and you’re ready to rock! Their focus on user experience is very evident and compared to others is well thought out!! As a former fitness and yoga instructor it has been hard to transition into working out in my living room. I love being social and being in a space with other moving, sweaty bodies. Zova has been my saving grace through having to do this, for all of the above reasons and because the workouts are challenging physically and mentally. I love the little face at the end that asks about how the workout was. Since downloading Zova I’v told all of my friends to get it and if someone tells me about a different one I basically sell them Zova - cause it’s THE [ACTUAL] BEST!
Love the weekly fresh workouts. The app is easy to use, workouts are fun, and totally worth the price. I like how it’s available on all apple devices Suggestion for the developers: 1. Would love to have the Apple TV app also get the weekly workout program and not just a subset of the videos. 2. A complication for the Apple Watch app for quick start. And continuous heart rate monitoring. 3. Focus on men’s health as well.
The Zova app is a workout app that is very well fit for people who have had trouble sticking to a healthy active regimen in the past and are looking for something that will help motivate them. After answering a few simple questions users will get access to short health videos that will explain interesting topics such as how to prep for a doctors visit, what to eat on a day to day basis and content is added fairly often - the length allows for the videos to be watched almost immediately, and the bite size content is easy to digest (pun not intended but appreciated). Then there’s courses, currently there are two, one about detox and one about breaking bad habits. It’s really interesting because the courses aren’t intended to be binged, but mindfully completed over the span of multiple days with one lesson per day, because the intention is that you are able to work the lesson into your mindset before you start on the next one. For those looking for more intense workouts there are Programs, which are video-led programs for specific workout types (cardio, sculpting, etc), of which new videos are posted every week by a trainer, so you can maintain a workout schedule with a new workout! And lastly there’s an activity log that helps maintain your step count and your activities, which you can input through an easy to use interface - this helps count calories and in general how active you were on a day to day basis, which is useful in the beginning when you’re trying to make a habit stick. All in all, it’s understandable that the price for Zova may be high, but when you see what you can get out of it, instead of spending money on a gym, you have the opportunity to be self-disciplined AND learn further self-discipline through the app. Sure, you have to open it every day but with that first step you can actual get your active - I know I’ve had trouble getting myself to the gym at all, but I think there’s real potential with Zova to give me the tools I need to be more active inside my own home.
