Very disappointed with the service I received from Lyft. Had been using it for a while, we had a journey which we paid for. The next day I found a paypal receipt for an extra 25usd (which I did not authorize) due to damages. Upon contacting the company, I was told that the driver said that we caused the damages so they charged us. When asking for more information I was told that due to confidentiality no information could be given. Very disappointed with the whole thing and definitely won’t be using the app again!!
Either their drivers or their app is faulty. Prepare to pay for rides you miss coz they don’t pick you up.

My tire had caught a flat the morning i was leaving for work. Lyft charged me 70.78 for a 15 minute ride and then placed the charge on hold and NEVER scheduled my ride! My husband placed a ride and got it 20% cheaper and a lot faster! I will be uninstalling! I was late to a very important meeting that could had cost me my career!
On time, friendly, safe driving, clean vehicle, very spacious
All I want to do is be able to explain my issues and get a better understanding of what am doing or need to do better. But, all I get is multiple choices to select for my inquiry and no resolution. Lyft doesn’t acknowledge emailing them except to give you links for the multiple choice help center which in the end waist time and gives no resolution. I have more than one issue. If Lyft doesn’t want to support your need and listen to a customer we have no other choice then to post it in public and use another source. On 12/28/24 I requested a ride and waited 40 minutes before I was given a driver. Then the driver was changed twice before my last driver was stated they were on their way but I could not see the location of their route as normal. So, after the arrival time kept changing I canceled the ride to seek other transportation. Now I see you charged me for that cancellation. I don’t think this is appropriate since I was dropped and waited a very long time and was never compensated as the app stated I could be! FYI - the person that was with me used their app and found a driver with no problem.
The past three times I have tried to get a ride, the app (or the system?) has churned for almost five minutes before providing a driver. I also don’t like that a driver can consider their vehicle a large SUV but it can’t fit a family a five with luggage.
The rides are beautiful and professional
Lyft is good until they’re not: if you have a question or an issue or false charge you can forget about ever talking to someone, no matter how hard you try on the app, or how many hoops you jump through there’s just no help. No service , no phone number, End of story; you can take it up with your bank because they don’t wanna hear it right now, not tomorrow, not ever!
