I use the Kindle on an iPad Pro. Makes it easy to read books and comics. The app is easy to use. I have 3,000+ books there. In my previous review I asked for a collection of "not in other collections", which improved our organisation of books very much. Three other features would improve the organisation by no small amount. a) By the end of each book we are asked to provide 1-5 stars for a review. I do this happily. But WHY can't we see these stars in the list of books? As it is now we have to clumsily create categories "junk", "read again", etc., and then painstakingly categorise books twice: once for it genre which is the main purpose for categories, and one for its quality which is misuse of categories - just because the stars we already have given are not shown in the overview. Of course this should be supplemented by an option to see and edit a written book review at will. b) Why are categories not shown in the list? Why must we switch to the Collections view, or view the collections dialog? c) Why can't we have the list view inside the collections view? The display as list or as icons should be independent of whether we see all books or the sub-collections. d) Each book has an "About" section. However, this can only be seen by downloading and opening the book. Also, more likely than not, this book will now count as "Most recent" even if we didn't read or view anything but the About section. It should be possible, both in the all books list and in the collections lists, to view the About section without downloading or opening the book, and without throwing it into the "most recent" order.

I have a business account for books I buy in my company, and one for private books. It is a pain(!) that I cannot be logged into both accounts at the same time and just switch between them!

Jeg kan tage det med overalt og det er nemt at bruge. E-bøgerne bliver ikke lige pludseligt slettet som de gør hos iBooks selvom man har købt e-bogen.

I like the ability to be able to use my Kindle content on multiple devices, so 5 stars for that, and I do use the kindle app all the time, but, the interface on mac, iphone, ipad, feels “clumsy”. It is like the intention has been to recreate the phsyical kindle device experience on mac, iphone, ipad, which simply give an bad user experience. I have the actual kindle, and I like the actual device, but I would like the experience on mac, ipad, iphone app, to provide a more smooth native experience.

As unbelieveable as it sounds, they somehow updated the app and made it worse. About the only feature that actually exists in this product, bookmarks, they removed it. I cannot for the life of me find any way to save a page and get back to it later. I do find solace in the fact that amazon is only a multibillion dollar company, so i understand they don't have the coding resources to make a good product.
