My Kindle app on Ipad freeze frequently! Why? This happens after the last update.

There are many things I consider as the best things since slice bread but Kindle ranks quite high up that list.
Can’t use the app
The last update completely screwed up the app. Crashes every time I try to open it. Please fix it!

After the last update this app keeps crashing. Super annoying when I want to kick back with a book. Needed to delete and re-install for the 5th time in less than a month. What is the problem here?
App keeps on crashing
After the latest update this app keeps on crashing. The app support function on Amazon extremely unhelpful and the lack of response frustrating. It seems as if I have to switch to Kobo after all.
Convenient and Efficient
Superb app! As much as I love actual books, Kindle makes it so much easier to have more of my books with me. From work to pleasure, on my phone, iPad or laptop! I love it!
