It does not read the information from Strava or Wahoo and if you get it to read it must be with RunGap app and even then it is not feed it your average cardio fitness level, additionally you must every morning use the mindfulness app for a minute for the recovery level to change and it is not very accurate one day it appears at zero and other applications show me that the training readiness is excellent on that day.
Bad
Doesn’t work to others watch.
What it could be…
The fact that KNOWING that some apps like Garmin Connect export files with wrong data, and this app won’t allow you to edit an activity… just wow. Yesterday a had a long hard bike ride, results on the app: HR 0.0, exertion 1.2, Average HR 0.0. So my resting was almost 100% and my effort was 1.2. Can’t do nothing about it. If you are an athlete, and you DO need those numbers, you are most likely to just type the numbers over those wrong results, it’s not like you are cheating. Are you crazy? Also, the updating on the app and the watch is out of sync, and it updates when it want to. How good this app could be…
Exertion Score Doesn’t Update (upgraded after developer feedback)
Update: Prompt and responsive feedback from the developer resolved this by asking me to clear the exertion cache and resyncing Apple Health data. I was not aware of this option in the More tab. Still a bit frustrating but not the fault of the app as it relies on Apple Health data which can be updated after initial receipt. However, perhaps this could be made clearer and more intuitive within the applicable sections of the app versus or in addition to the Settings page.
Exertion should be updated for days past if the Workout data is updated for those days. My cycling workouts do not get detailed HR data from Zwift or Strava. I can get it from Garmin Connect but only if I go to that app and view it, then refresh the screen. If I then go to Athlytic I can update it there by refreshing the screen. If that’s on the same day, Exertion is updated. If I forget and do it the next day or later I can still get detailed HR data in a past Workout in Athlytic by refreshing the screen in the app. But the daily Exertion score won’t reflect it. That makes my calendar view somewhat worthless.
Skip whoop and oura
The developer(s) are extremely committed and have been making regular thoughtful improvements. I hope they add an AI coach and nap tracking soon.
Battery feature makes no sense
been using this app for a while, but recently the battery feature just makes no sense. it ' loses' charge overnight now all of the sudden despite no changes to my lifestyle. so the app is glitching, not me. the new battery sensitivity settings aren't explained well either.
tldr - battery function used to work fine, now for me it's obviously broken
Apple Watch Issues
Complications and watch app seemingly have a ton of connection and updating issues. Every few updates it gets buggier until recently it no longer works on my watch. I don’t need the app otherwise. Annoyed!

Best app on my phone
There is so much data that this app gives me about what is going on in my body and how I’m doing (sometimes too much😁)—I love it. Since downloading, my average sleep and recovery have gone way up! Usually around 100% and I can feel it! I’m sure eating better and the new vitamins and supplements I have been taking are a part of that, but being able to track things like recovery is the first step to changing them, just like anything. Shout out to Gary and Jaclyn, so awesome!!
Considered a Whoop until I found Athlytic
So far this app does nearly everything I could ask for. It truly does allow you to obsess over your health. Highly recommend giving this app a shot.
I would love to see a little bit more customization from the “workouts” section, though. Specifically for running distances. It almost seems like that information is buried intentionally. As someone that is ramping up the distances I run, I'd love to see better sharing tiles that include distance ran. Strava has a great feature that shows a graph of your distances for the week and it's one of my favorite features.
