Everand: Ebooks and audiobooks

I am very pleased to have this subscription! It offers a very large ebook and audiobook library at a very decent price without stress or hassle! Highly recommend!

look i get it it s a cheap subscruption read and or listen as much as you like compared to the unreasonable policy of the other audiobooks app you know which but PLEASE update this app. it’s glitchy and the interface is old and it’s not working properly, please make it beautiful and smooth how hard could it be? thanks!

So I'm listening a book, take a break a few days, and want to pick up from the same place. Of course i don't remember where i left of. Sets me back over a chapter. Every single time! I keep listening to the same chapter again and again...

The offline play is full of bugs and errors. A ridiculous number of checks to see if you are online to play an already downloaded book is making offline usage a pain. I usually need to force close the app a few times to get it to work. Pausing if phone is locked forces you to unblock the phone to restart playing. The blocked screen player controls are kit working. I could go on and on. I wonder if the people working on this app ever use it.

Hello, I am trying for the tenth time to highlight the issue about The reading features on some iPad, which since last update has make impossible to increase/ decrease the size of text, since the whole panel with features is hidden. I do mention that on iPhone i don't have this problem. So bassicaly now i am trying to read a text on Everand app on iPad using a real magnifier because the text is barely visible. However, i made repeated support request, highlighting the issue and after 2 months, no reply from developers. But the keep getting my subscription money.

9/10 it doesn’t work when connected to carplay. I have to reach my pocket to get the phone, and play the book from the phone. But that’s not why I wanted a wireless carplay. It doesn’t automatically play and it doesn’t do anything when I choose the audiobook and press play. It’s just stuck at an empty screen with the play button on it. Canceled my subscription and uninstalled. Useless for CarPlay

1. The nr of books you can read/listen each month is limited even though you pay a subscription. When you reach the max limit a significant part of the books become unavailable and you are forced to selected something from a predetermined list 2. When limit is reached even some of the books you are currently reading/listening will become unavailable 3. 3 apps instead of one 4. Sometimes the app is unresponsive 5. Sometimes the progress is not properly displayed

1. You are being limited on how many books you can read/listen to, by an unknown number. When you have suddenly reached it, then it’s tough luck, you’ll have to wait until next billing time. The limit is put on “selected titles”, aka the books that most likely you got the app for and decided to pay for the subscription; 2. Moreover, when you have reached that cap, the “selected titles” disappear from your saved list under a subtab called “titles available soon”; 3. If you have reached the monthly cap and you search for a book (that is a “selected title”, but you don’t know that, because how can you), the book doesn’t show up. So you don’t know if it is or not available on everand. It may not be, or it is, but it just doesn’t appear because it is hidden for you, because you have reached your monthly cap. Just… wait until the next billing time to find out. 4. The app is slow and frequently unresponsive; 5. The progress tracker is a hinderance (eg.: it shows “58 pages left in book”, while you are on “page 46 of 56”, or you have finished an (audio)book but it shows “1 secs left”/ “1 page left”); 6. They have split 1 app (scribd) into 3 apps because why have everything handy and easily accessible; 7. You can’t actually see the full title of a book, if it is a longer title…

The change from scribd to everand was unexpected and not welcomed. More so because I just realised I need to download ANOTHER app for scribd docs.

When everyone wants digital minimalism, declutter, 1 Home Screen, etc. these people take 1 app and make 3 out of it . Fire the product manager and designer today
