I’ve been using this app for well over a year and for me it stands out. If you’re looking for those gamification language apps with flashy animations, sounds and whatnot, this might be not for you. For those who want to take learning a language to the next level though, Fluent Forever is a great choice. Here’s why: - Flashcards using the spaced repetition system are effective in really learning new words - Preference of image based learning over translations - Learning the phonetics before everything else - Personalized learning: add content to the app that is relevant to you - Option to book a plan that includes a real language tutor (not those AI bots…). Since having booked the option with a tutor (about 6 months in now), I now speak Italian regularly every week with a native speaker. This has taken me from not talking my target language at all to being confident in having a conversation in Italian – what an improvement! My tutor Irene is really wonderful and I’m looking forward every week to having a nice chat with her about topics that matter to me. The best part: new words that come up during the chat then get pushed in the app and are available as flashcards. Awesome concept! For serious language learners I can highly recommend this app!

The fluent forever method is really great for really learning a language. I would recommend to buy the book too, because the app is the perfect companion for it. It takes more effort to learn with this method, but it’s great, and you will be much better then with the easier apps. For me it worked so well, that I am now studying languages :-) so thanks fluent forever team

I am extremely dissatisfied with this app. The concept and theory are really great, but the implementation is very poor. First, I used the 2 week free trial, but unfortunately I couldn't sign up in the second week. Customer service didn't even get back to me. Then I thought I'd try a proper subscription using a different email address. Of course, all my progress was deleted and I had to start all over again. The respective lessons are well structured and build on each other, unfortunately there are some bugs that are really annoying. Last month I stopped paying and wanted to continue again this month, but now the whole app is spinning. I can no longer log in with my original password and of course the customer service is not answering again. It's a real shame because the concept is really good, but they definitely need to put more work into customer service and also into the app.

Mit FluentForever habe ich endlich eine Chance italienisch zu lernen. Die Methode, bei der man halb-angeleitet ist, aber viel selbst bestimmen kann (welche Wörter man lernen will, mit welchen Sätzen, und welchen Fotos) funktioniert bei mir super. Auch das LiveCoaching ist gut. Ich hoffe Grammatik lernen wird noch etwas angeleiteter, und ich hoffe sie nehmen noch mehr Übungen zum zuhören echter Italiener auf, aber ich kann fluent forever nur empfehlen.

I was asked to pick from a couple of pictures for “Nagel”, fingernail in German to create a flash card. One of the options was a picture of a finger with half of the finger nail ripped off, including the bloody nail bed. Shocking enough that I cancelled my subscription, I’ll stick to other resources!

Only a trial period directly connected to a plan. Thats not how you create trust!

I really love „working“ with the app, it‘s quite fun. The method the app is based on is outstanding and unique. I‘ve been using it to refurbish my Italian and I‘m making faster progress that I could have immagined. On the go, I‘m also improving my English, because the app is not available in other languages. That all being said, I‘m happy that they‘re constantly improving the relatively young app and adding new features. I‘m curious on the further developments and already thinking of the next language I want to cover once having mastered Italian. Good work, guys.

Ich hab einen Coupon bekommen (2 Monate kostenlos). Ist es mir aber ein Rätsel, wie man den einlösen kann. Ich hab stundenlang probiert und dann direkt die App gelöscht.

Worst customer service ever. I was logged out from my paid account since 10 days ago and i have been sending emails every day without any answer. Not only that i have lost mu progression but i am also pauing for an app that i can’t use. I DON’T recommend this app.

App freezes, forces you to create notifications, you have to watch videos until the end to progress content. Can not take sneak peaks into future content, everything is locked behind a paywall, the app is cheaply programmed. No customization options. All in all it’s just annoying to use.
