The Fluent Forever book made it out as if there is an entire collaborative wiki of resources, for every language imaginable because of the inherent collaborative nature. Unfortunately that is not actually the case, there are about ten languages available, and from what it appears nothing is collaborative. I'm sure this is a great resource for those languages, however what language learning needs is what the book advertised; a common pool of resources learners of all languages can grow and contribute to.

an embarrassment
this app crashes regularly, and the support page doesn’t work. The developer’s need to get their act together. The excellent fluent forever system and its users deserve much better.
Only for rank beginners
Unless you're basically at the start of your language journey, don't bother. There's no way to skip ahead. You get stuck doing endless repetitions of basic letter sounds that you mastered ages ago. I'm sure it's great for beginners, and may be great later on, but it's a slog. It's like you're in junior high and you have to go back to preschool and sit through all the classes again. I'm not even sure it would be bearable for new languages if you have a few under your belt.
American accent only is a problem
It teaches you to listen to your target language as compared to the American English accent. I am trying to hear the French “fente” which sounds identical to the Australian “font” and so I click the American “font” and I get it wrong! I then listen to the American “font” and it sounds very unlike how I hear that word. Please consider other English accent translations. I will never benefit the same way your American learners will be able to with this method on your app.
Great app
I love this app. It would be great to be able to make your own edits to the flash cards in order to memorise things in your own specific way. But I’m improving a lot, so five stars it is.
Don’t buy this app
It’s been 3 years I am waiting for improvement, I paid to learn English and English is not in the languages you can learn! Very bad, waste of money
Now they sent to me an account cancellation, after I paid the lifetime subscription
Good, but needs cross platform support
This app is fairly good, but given the various settings people study in feels limited by only being available on mobile all. The scaled tablet version is unusable and a desktop version is required to really allow people to actively study
Subscription issues
The app work fine but canceling your subscription is hell. It didn’t appear under my apple subscriptions even though I was still being billed and then when I went to the site ,following the instructions on how to cancel, the was no option to view my account only to logout
Impossible to cancel
I have been trying to cancel your subscription for weeks and it seems to be impossible. The direct debit just keeps coming out of my account.
