Excellent for training pronunciation, lacking on grammar and word practice

I read the book and was previously using anki for practicing. Very excited when I discovered this app. Excellent pronunciation training in Chinese but the word list and grammar sentences are very strange. Lots of advanced words, not at all close to the 625 word list. Very archaic phrases.

Best science backed language app

The best language app out there, built with neuroscience. Would definately recommend reading the book aswell, for inspiration.

A flashcard app without flashcards?

Maybe I’m not getting it but they seem to want ME to make the flashcards, what an absurd waste of energy. I don’t care WHICH photo of the earth you use, YOU pick one. Also, the Grammar button just takes me to Vocab.

It’s the consistency of using this super clever APP. The language is starting to “pop up” in every day life, literally. Very clever. It really is! Thank you.

Really good concept

Looking forward trying it out for the coming two weeks. The words that are used feel too random, they're definitively not words that I would use in every day situations, for example snug, fig or boar! However there might be some deeper understanding that I'm missing from this. Apart from that it looks really good, love that the ted talk was included as well!
