Hik-Connect - for End user

App keeps crashing and takes an absolute age to download.

After the latest update to Hik-Connect 6 the app no longer opens on either my iPhone or my iPad (both running the latest software updates)

Use to be auto two way talk but now have to switch manually to hear other people not really good anymore more for me 😞

Hik connect must be the worst app for any cctv application. Each upgrade makes it worse Its getting so complicated and not user friendly The cameras and system is ok but the app is useless If I had not invested $1000 in this already I would of binned it and go for an alternative brand

Horrible app, keeps crashing if you have 30+ cameras and now more changes made to it that make it even less intuitive. Can’t wait to change over to NX Witness.

I don’t have to worry while we’re away now. We monitor the cameras and have neighbours standing by. Just great.

Very disappointing system - video functionality poor

It’s a good app to use but very annoying that every time you rearrange the viewing order of the cameras somehow later it rearranged them again back to what suited it not you

App crashes all the time, takes an age to load. Playback is painfull. Needs a date search function instead of having to click back day by day waiting for each to load so it doesn’t crash.

I have used the app for awhile on iPad and phone ,suddenly on my iPad the live view has disappeared ,only left with playback. I have deleted and reinstalled the app,logged in all is fine ,live view returns but as soon as I close it and reopen it back to playback only.
