Once the application process is interrupted, I was asked to log in to complete the application, but it always shows „invalid username password combination“. I tried to start over, and it said my email is already in use. Please fix this.

I recently opened an account with Interactive Brokers to transfer my existing securities, but my experience has been extremely frustrating. The platform lacks clear options for transferring securities, making it difficult for new users to navigate. The real disappointment, however, is the complete lack of customer support in Germany. There is no phone number for customer service in Germany, and the email support option is entirely non-functional—I never received any response to my inquiries. The live chat system is also disappointing, as it only provides answers to predefined questions without offering any way to speak to a human representative. For a financial platform handling complex transactions, this level of inaccessibility is unacceptable. I expected a much more user-friendly experience and responsive support, especially when managing significant investments. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Interactive Brokers to anyone looking for a seamless, well-supported brokerage service in Germany.

Wow, 8!!! Jahre später kriege ich ein Feedback von den Entwicklern. Das nenne ich mal Vorbildlich schnell😀. 2016: Die alte Version ist noch stabil gelaufen. Diese neue hier muss ich mehrfach starten bis sie einmal läuft. Bitte überarbeiten.

With the option to now place OCA orders with the app I finally have everything I personally need within the app! The only thing I dd like to change is the US market overview / indices... why the NASDAQ / S&P500 and Russel 1000? The Russel 1000 makes absolutely no sense in addition to the S&P500, just 500 more large caps?... It definitely should be NASDAQ / S&P500 and "Russel2000" ... or even better let us chose... But still very nice developed app AND broker! Will stay a customer for life:)

The onboarding process was extremely frustrating. I applied for a personal account and was asked to provide inappropriate information, such as customer invoices from my company. It’s completely unreasonable and inappropriate to request such sensitive data for a personal account. I declined to share this information due to GDPR concerns and a commitment to protecting client data. As a result, my account application was rejected. This was, by far, the worst broker experience I’ve ever had.

Ich nutze die Plattform gerne, um meine Derivaten Handelsstrategien abzubilden. Damit auch grundsätzlich zufrieden, man darf nur keine Probleme bekommen. Insbesondere wenn man für das deutsche Finanzamt die Steuerunterlagen benötigt. Auch nach Monaten ist IB dazu nicht in der Lage. Fazit: was nützen günstige Preise, wenn man parallel Probleme mit den Finanzbehörden bekommt.

Die App bietet alles, was ich brauche. Ich würde mir Widgets für iOS wünschen, mit denen ich z.B. die Entwicklung meiner Watchlisten aktuell verfolgen kann.
