So you invest without margin But when you want to withdraw funds they want you to maintain a balance which is 10 times your unrealized losses I find it scandalous If you’re non US resident, they can pay you dividends on equity.. but not on mutual funds. Find the logic

It’s not working on iPad. Not able to log in. No response from touching.

IB is an excellent brokerage but new users might find navigating through the app a bit confusing as there are so many aspects in investments included. I use the java based desktop mainly as the watchlist can hold more than 100 securities- I just wish one day IB would upgrade to sync the watch list from and to desktop seamlessly. I mainly use iPad Pro 12.9” for 95% of my work. It’s only when I need to use IB, I will switch on my MacBook Pro as the user interface of the iPad version is too limited but still a lot better compared to many other brokerages which uses web based interface. Now that IOS 16 supports external display through M1 iPads, IB should also redo its UI for serious users. Overall, I love it.

Most difficult app to use. Using it is looking for troubles. Live chat is basically non-existent. Session ended if I browsed something and had to restart everything that they hide behind faq. Painful!

Pretty much all features available on the app and rarely I use desktop version because of this app. Very convenient, highly recommended. Been using it for many years already.

Slow login and clunky menus. Horrible customer service. App says you have enough settled cash but when you try to place a trade, says that you have insufficient funds. You get what you pay for with this broker. Thats why the fees are low.

It is a web interface disguised as an app. It is slow, sluggish, uses insecure authorization algorithms. And besides, they can stop you from trading specific stock whenever they want to manipulate the stock market.

One of the most sophisticated apps/brokers. Broker itself is useless and complicated. When I finally after 3 days of calling the US customer support, the advisor John didn’t really give me a clear answer on why my ‘Proof of Address’ bank statement is being declined. The thing is that when I wanted to withdraw my money out of this broker, broker didn’t let me to do so. I entered all my bank wire details I had to, and the error message was coming up. Even though I already entered all my banking info when I made a deposit to my brokerage account. I got fed up with this useless customer service and this broker.
