I have been trading for 40 years now and IKBR is by far the most comprehensive en efficient trading and portfolio management available on the market today. I even cancelled my Bloomberg subscription that I had continuously since 1986
The IBKR so far is the best app and platform to trade in global markets, UI is so simple now after their latest upgrade. Simply amazing tool all in one.
Quite easy to use and you can pretty much do anything on it. The app is quick and I never experienced any issues
In 2 days I’ve found and reported 8 issues. Other than the painfully slow platform that logs you out every 5 minutes and won’t let you use multiple devices, frequently throws errors at you and does not let you view stock orders in sensible order. Just unusable and poorly designed. Bogus errors show up that don’t mean what they say.
Typical job of the developers having to push updates, but actually making the app worse with each new version. Do you even test this with a beta audience before release? How is it acceptable that for example in the order modify screen one can even see or change the order type or PrIce?!?! Like really?!
This app is seriously full of bags. It has the worst error and event handling a developer could ever do. When starting to create an order, placing the purchase price and then a bracket order. Trying to change the total number of shares to buy, it will always breaks. Also at random times when pressing to enter prices for stop losses, exit, etc. IBKR needs to get some better testers and developers, it’s quite of a joke it works this bad

Great intuitive easy to use platform that provides one of the cheapest commission costs for Foreign Exchange, Futures, Equities and options. (The corporate and Emerging Market bond transaction costs are high) IB doesn’t offer exotic options yet. Overall, it’s a great platform.
I have been trading years and this is the worst trading app all the time, besides it is not possible to reach any customer support, you are alone completely
I have been trying to open the account for weeks but it never got through. Something or other excuses about document + the app is a disaster never recognize my login credentials while the same credentials works over web. However , you can’t use it bcos you have to authenticate from the app. Such a waste of time and effort!! Frustrating too!! I have now opened with SaxoBank and worked just like magic!
