Imaging Edge Mobile allows images/videos to be transferred to a smartphone/tablet, enables remote shooting, and provides location information to images captured by a camera.
■ Transfer images from a camera to a smartphone
- You can transfer images/videos.
- The selection and transfer of images after shooting are no longer needed as the automatic background transfer function allows images to be transferred to a smartphone as they are captured. *1
- High bit rate video files including 4K can be transferred. *2
- You can view and transfer images in your camera from your smartphone even when the camera is turned off. *2
- After transferring, you can immediately share your high quality images on social networks or through email.

■ Remote shooting of a camera using a smartphone
- You can capture photos/videos remotely while checking the live view of a camera on a smartphone. *3
This is convenient for capturing night views or water flowing scenes which need long-exposure, or macro shooting in which you need to avoid to directly touch the camera.
*3 Models that support PlayMemories Camera Apps can use this feature by installing "Smart Remote Control" (in-camera app) on your camera in advance.

- With cameras that have a location information linkage function, the location information acquired by the smartphone can be added to the captured image in your camera.

Winner of worst app
Doesn’t work, it’s impossible to connect camera with the app, did I really pay XY euros to have a good camera, but the app for the camera isn’t even working? Terrible. I’m really mad and also sad about it. Is here some plan for changes in the future, or you just doesn’t care?

Worst app ever! Nothing works fine. Conection between a7iii and iphone 8 works 1/5. That´s really oficial Sony app? Take the example from Nikon app. 😞

Stažený program nefunguje ani po 2 hod. hledání, skenování, hledání SSID atd nešlo propojit foťák a iPhone 13. Tlačítka ani nereaguji. Pěkný podvod! smažte tuto aplikaci udělejte jí znova, aby aspoň trošku fungovala.A vývojáře vyhoďte.

Aplikace funguje, jen uživatelské prostřední j3 trošku kostrbaté. Občas musíte zrušit přednost a začít nanovo.
Canceling sending my photos 🤦♂️
Why every first photo when I try to send on my phone from camera is cancelled? I hate it especially when I'm doing with selection images from camera and it's canceled during sending. Because i have to select all photos again and again 🤦♂️ Such unreliable app. It disconnecing any time :/
Change the name!!
The app itself is not that bad. The connection sometimes breaks but most of the time I’m able zo send my pictures from my Sony A6300 to my iphone 13. What I don’t understand is the fricking name of the app. I only use the app maybe twice a year and every single time I forget how it’s called and have to swipe through all od my apps to find it. Why for God’s sake you wouldn’t call it Sony something or import photos something or anything logical. What the hell is Imaging Edge?!

Very bad app
This is how the app is a joke. I understand that Sony is a very small company and has no money for development, yet their products are so cheap... Ha Ha
