Since last week the OTP stopped working. Neither SMS, nor on call. The app is also crashing with strange errors on the fund transfer page.
I provided all the details they asked me on the first day itself and from then they sent the same email multiple times in the next 1 month to inform that “we will reply in 3 business days”. When they did eventually replied, they asked me another detail. Now they have replied there is a data mismatch, that’s why they cannot link my loan account. Apparently, while converting my savings bank account to NRO account their system couldn’t update my foreign phone number in the iMobile app and hence the issue They converted my savings bank account to NRO account within 45 minutes online and I appreciate the promptness. I used to rate ICICI customer service very highly, I still do but this experience has affected that opinion and hence the lower rating in the app. Whatever they have asked me, I have replied within an hour of the email every time and the rest you can get by this review. As a software guy myself, I don’t think this is a big issue to fix, but god knows do they even have proper SLAs. I am still waiting for the resolution. I will update here as soon as I get something.
There seems to be an issue with the views. Loan section Details has overlapping views. Track deliverables section gives error. Transaction view also has overlapping and sometimes do not perform transactions.
I’m getting the error “Invalid details. Please try” while trying to transfer funds from my NRE account to another ICICI NRE account. But I’m able to do the same transfer using internet banking without any issue. So, seems like a bug in iMobile. It’s very annoying since it defeat the whole purpose of having a mobile app. Please fix it asap.
I am not able to perform fund transfer due to the option for selecting account to initiate the transfer is not displayed. Also cards menu nit showing credit cards in the first visit. My device is iPhone 14 pro

I appreciate your efforts for bringing up feature of UPI payments for NRI with NRO account linked with Indian number. But practically how is it feasible? Its harder to maintain Indian number in another country with problems related to network and sms notification. May be OTP App for will be a probable solution.

Absolutely a disaster as an app, they ask for being allowed to send notifications, and all they do is send advertisements. All you expect from a bank app is not advertisements but state of your finances!
I‘ll give it 5 star if they correct the problem of OTP for NRI customers. OTP is not coming for NRI accounts neither through sms nor via Call. Developers should look into this issue.
